Luanna's POV

We finally had all the boxes unpacked, and all the furniture in place. Zero's dad was gone most of the day, working. He seemed happy at his new job. It made me happy to see that their family seemed to be happy, except for the fact of Zero's wings, and Minie conplaining that she wanted some.

Today was the first day, of training Zero how to fly. For the past days I just made sure they were sturdy, and able to support his weight. He yelled at me for plucking feathers just to see what he would do. But it was neccary.

We now stood on the beach, over the ocean. It was mid-day, and kinda warm.

Expecially if you still were wearing Zero's clothes, because his mother is too fanatic of makeing the house look 'perfect'.

"Okay, pretty much, you just gotta jump, and flap. Sooner or later you will know the rythem of your wings flapping. After awhile, ya just remember it."

"But how do I feel it?"

"Ya will. It doesn't take much. Oh, and fly over the ocean, so if you crash, you don't hurt yourself as much, you will just get wet, got it?"

"Yeah, but isn't there more to it?"

"Yeah, keep your mouth closed. Don't keep it wide open."

"Why?"

"You'll find out sooner or later. Doesn't take much."

I pushed out my wings diagnoly, so they were almost parallel to the ground, then ran twords the water, leaping into the air, remembering my rythem of flight. It was the first time in a couple days that I got to fully launch myself into the air, and it felt great. The warm sun burning my face, the cooling off of the water below. The breeze wind drying my wings.

...not to mention I forgot to tell Zero that he didn't have to blow dry his wings....

It all felt so nice, as I did a big dive down twords the water, skimming my hand across it, before swooping back up, then landing back on the beach.

"How come you make this look so easy?"

"Because I was born to fly." I took off again, and flew as fast as I could out to the ocean, before turning around, to just stay a float in mid-air.

"Okay, shushnub. You're turn. Come and get me."
