Chapter 55

BEAUMONT POV

Nagising ako dahil sa katok sa pinto ko. Nakaidlip pala ako kakaisip sa kanya.Bumukas ang pinto at iniluwa nun ay si Caleb.

"Kuya, get ready. Cassidy will be right here in a minute" He said.

I felt something good in me, maybe to the fact that I will able to see her.

"Kuya? Ayos ka lng ba?" he asked

I immediately nodded and stared at him. I could see in his eyes the excitement to see her twin sister.

"Yeah! Just go downstair. I will fix myself first. " I said.

Tumango siya at lumabas na ng kwarto. Natulala ako saglit. Finally magkikita ulit tayo sa mas maayos na lugar.

Nag ayos na ako, dapat pag nakita nya ako mabango at gwapo ako. I shaved and fixed my hair. After that I practiced my smile in front in the mirror. Damn it, I looked like a lunatic here. I really need to act cool and normal but I'm nervous a bit.

I moved my eyebrows. I can only move my left eyebrows higher compare to the right one. Naalala ko kase na gusto to ni Cass na ginagawa ko to. Why not give it a try? And also ang mga tingin ko sa kanya na nakakatunaw. Na aawkwardan daw kase siya and at the same time kinikilig pag tinitignan ko siya ng matagal na parang tinutunaw. Gagawin ko ang mga yan, para matunaw ang yelo sa dibdib na binuild niya hindi lng para sa akin kung hindi sa buong pamilya.

I'm ready so I went downstairs. They were all excited to meet Cassidy. They were all in a good casual style, usually ginagawa nila yan pag may bisita.

"Ang gwapo naten ngayon Beau ah" sabe ni Papa. I laughed a bit.

"Kayo rin naman Pa eh. Well special day and dapat pinaghahandaan ang mga ganitong bagay." I said.

"I'm nervous to meet her Beau. Iba na kase ang anak ko eh, I hope that hindi na siya gaanong kagalit sa amin ng Mama nya" sabe ni Papa. I looked at him , nakita ko ang pangungulila sa mata nya. Inakbayan ko si Papa. I don't want to see him like this, miserable.

"Well expect narin naten na galit paren sa aten si Cassidy, pero kahit anong mangyari dapat hindi tayo sumuko. I know that nandun paren ang soft side nya, she maybe that hard infront but I know deep inside her lies a soft Cassidy that we knew" I said and I paused a bit"..... The Cassidy I loved" I continued.

"Thank You Anak" Papa said. I smiled at him and we hugged each other.

We heard a doorbell coming from the outside. We all looked at one another. Nervous and at the same time excitement were shown in each others faces.

We all head outside of the house and I saw Cassidy. She's more beautiful. Her hair gets longer that fits her style. She's wearing a white dress designed by flowers. She looked at us and even from apart I can't see the glow in her eyes. The glow that I always present everytime I looked at her.

Lumapit kame bahagya sa gate. Caleb opened the gate for her. Nakita ko si Mama na napaiyak dahil nakita na nya si Cassidy. She Cass and I knew that Cass was surprised upon Mama hugged her. She remained stiff, parang hindi siya excited na makita kame.

"Masaya akong makita ka Anak" rinig ko na sabe ni Mama. Hawak hawak ni Mama ang pisngi ni Cass. Walang emosyon ang mukha ni Cass. Ganun na ba talaga siya?

Iniwas ni Cass ang mukha nya mula sa kamay ni Mama.

"So pede na ba tayong pumasok sa loob or mag iiyakan lng tayo dito?" malamig na sabe ni Cass sa amin.

Hindi ganito ang Cassidy na kilala ko. Hindi siya ganito kalamig, especially pag kaharap nya ang kanyang magulang.

"Ah...eh... tara Anak pasok na tayo. Una ka na anak" sabe ni Papa. Nataranta rin si Papa, he give way to Cassidy but Cass refused to oblige but instead she headed the way to them na pinapauna niya kame.
