{Still Gerard's P.O.V}
Lyn-z and I got married in 2007, September 3rd. The date had rolled around, it was our two year anniversary.
Bandit must've known, she didn't wake us up as early as usual. I rolled over to face Lyn-z. We moved the crib over to her side so it was easier for her to feed Bandit in the early morning hours. She'd broken out of the habit on sleeping on the edge of the mattress, I knew that because I was on the edge with her leg slid over to my side like I used to with her while she was pregnant.
"Good morning hunny, happy anniversary!" I said calmly as I slid over reaching my hand over gently rubbing it on her shoulder.
I heard a sigh come back in return. I didn't know weather something was wrong or if she'd just woken up.
"I'll sort out Bandit this morning if you want?"I asked
"Last time, you put her diaper on inside out!" She said in a playful yet tired tone.
"I know it now, animals go on the front and the sticky bits stick to the sides where the stars are." I said trying to redeem my self.
She chuckled, "ok! Make sure you play with her though, she gets hyper after sleeping."
I rolled out of bed stumbling over pretty much everything even stuff that wasn't even in my way. I got over to the crib and reached out for her pulling her little blanket to the end. She was clutching the rabbit I bought for her in the hospital. I left her for a few seconds while I leaped back over to the table where my phone was charging. I took it off charge and swiped the camera up to the lock so it would appear straight away. I took a picture of her with it, cuddling it as she slept. She also had a little giraffe beside her that Mikey bought, a little sheep my parents bought by her head, a pretty little doll ray got for her on a little shelf just above the crib, some stuff that Jennifer, Steve and Jimmy had got sat with ray's doll too. Frank and Jamia printed off the picture I sent then and placed in a little white and pink frame that we hung on the wall at the head of the crib. It was adorable.
I lifter her out slowly as she began to wake up. She cried from being woken. I carried her out to the bomb site of the bathroom where I changed her before taking her to the kitchen to get some bottled milk Lyn-z had ready. It sort of made her want to fall back asleep but I couldn't let that happen because she'd only just woken up. I put her in a little play chair that was white and covered in purple and pink stars. It matched the blanket we were given so it looked really cute. I sat crossed legged in front of it so we were at the same level. I booped her nose again, she giggled which made me giggle back.
For a while we played peekaboo. "Where's Bandit? Where is she? Huh?" I asked in a baby voice that she seemed to understand more. I would slide my fingers open so i could see her smile grow. She tried to do the same thing but instead she slapped herself in both eyes. She began to cry.
My face turned.
"Gerard what's wrong? What did you do?" Lyn-z called from the bathroom.
"She tried copying me. We were playing peekaboo and she hit her self in the eye!" I replied as I picked Bandit up out of her chair and kissed her fore head trying to hug her and make her feel better.
Lyn-z ran over to where we were crouched down on the floor.
"Oh pumpkin, I know, mommy's coming." Lyn-z said as she came through to the living room. "I know, I know" she added sounding like she knew the pain Bee was going through right now.
She took her off me gently and started walking round aimlessly to try and calm her down. It was sweet how she was rubbing her back and kissing her.
We sat down on the sofa and started to introduce Bandit to cartoons on the t.v. She really started to smile at Flinstones. I think it was the dinosaur she liked most.
