{It's Gerard's P.O.V again}
We were at the cinema. We'd had dinner and we were heading to go get popcorn.
"Bee, do you want some popcorn?" I reached to my ass to grab my wallet again. Lyn-z held her hand as we walked over to the concession stand.
"Just a little bit please." She said still full from the pasta she had at dinner.
"Well, mommy and me are going to get some to share, do you want to share that with us?" I said waiting around in the queue with them.
"Okay." Her voice was soft and sweet.
She started to ask Lyn-z questions about how dark it was making sure I wasn't lying to her.
"Hi sir, how can I help you?" The girl at the counter said.
I shuffled forward and turned round to face her.
"Hi, errr can I have a large popcorn and medium coke."
"Yes, sir. Anything else?" She continued.
"No, that's it thanks."
Another guy started to fill a cardboard bucket with popcorn then grabbed the coke putting it on the counter in front of me.
Lyn-z grabbed the popcorn and hugged it with one arm.
"Bee, can you get three straws for us please? There just there okay." Lyn-z said to Bandit letting go of her hand pointing to a little table.
"Okay mommy!"
"That'll be $5.32 please." The girl said.
$5.32, ouch! This place is mega bucks.
In the mean time, Lyn-z watched Bandit like a hawk not loosing sight of her.
I handed the girl the money and Bee came back with three straws. I picked up the coke and the three of us waddled to the screen.
Lyn-z found our seats and the three of us sat down with Bee in the middle of us.
"Daddy, I can't see the big telly!" Bee said shuffling around on her knees to try and be able to see better.
"Okay, well stay here." I said ready to push myself off the chair. I then turned to Lyn-z and told her I was going to get one of those kiddy box things.
I ran out to the centre isle and started to go down the steps two at a time. I got down and went round to the door and grabbed the top one from the pile stacked against the wall on the other side.
Some grandma saw me and smiled sympathetically. I was an adult, with long red hair, black skinny jeans, a Metallica t-shirt and I was heading into a really kiddy movie and had a plastic booster seat in my hand. That must've been some sight to see. I kinda gave a half-hearted smile back and looked down as I took the booster box in with me as I ran back up to the stairs and asked Bandit to stand up to set the box back down. I picked her up and sat her down on top of it as the adverts started to roll around.
Me and Lyn-z took it in turns to take her to the toilet. She'd come back and quiz us on what she missed when she was gone. I had no idea what was going on really myself.
She fell asleep by the time the credits rolled around. Lyn-z picked her up and rested Bee's head on her shoulder. She sat her down in the car seat. We drove home almost in silence so we wouldn't wake her up.
She was peaceful.
I unclipped the seat belt and picked her up the same way Lyn-z did. Lyn-z got the door unlocked and went in to the house getting a pair of Bee's pyjamas out ready for when I bought her in. I shut the door as soft as I could watching her to see if she woke then locked the car while walking up the path to the door. I took Bee to her mom while I went back and shut the front door.
We got her changed eventually and tucked her in. She was out like a light.
