Chapter 45: Planning

Harry P.O.V.

One day.

Lisa was missing since one day. And he was giving himself the fault for her kidnapping. It was his own fault, that he got her ...

"Harry?", Elena brought him back to the Salvatore mansion.

"I'm here.", he nodded taking a deep breath.

"Sure?", Caroline raised her eyebrow. "You're in thoughts."

"Of course I am!", he defended himself.

"It is not your fault, Harry.", Stefan repeated again.

"Of course it is!", he shook his head.

They were silent after which he looked at the floor. They had all gathered here. The Salvatore brothers, Elena, Caroline, Bonnie, Jeremy, Tyler, Alaric, Lisa's siblings, even Mike was this time present. Except the three youngest, they didn't know yet.

"Even if we had been there, he would have taken her.", Damon explained. "With luck, we could have prevented it, but – I mean – we are talking about Klaus."

"Yes, Damon. We are talking about Klaus!", Harry stood up. "We are talking about Klaus almost all the time! Since we know of her pregnancy. Because he wants this and he could do that..."

He stopped himself stroking his hair back and taking a deep breath, but it doesn't help at all. "It is enough."

"Yes, it is.", Bonnie nodded. "We need to concentrate on what we are going to do."

"We know, that he has her, so we know also where she is.", Elena thought aloud.

"And why aren't we going there?", Dani furrowed her forehead.

"Because we can't, sweetie.", Caroline pressed her lips together. "And we know also, that he can't do anything to her, right?"

Elena nodded. "He needs the baby, so he can't harm her."

"Oh, he can.", Damon said, while Harry murmured: "He won't get the baby."

Amy closed her eyes while saying: "That's just a nightmare. In no minutes we'll all wake up and she is coming through this door, because she was all the time home. She forget something at Harry's and is arriving. You'll see."

"That would be great.", Christina nodded stroking her cheek, because a single tear was falling from her eye. "No! We have to focus. Concentrate Amy! And Harry you too. We can't change the past, but we can influence the future. We need an idea, a plan. But will never put one together, if we don't think now."

"You're right. We have to get her back.", Mike nodded and looked up to Harry. "Listen to me, Harry. It's not your fault. You've fought for her; fought that nothing happens to her. Given the fact that I failed as her big brother, because I was not with her, you have given everything. We will get Lisa back. You're going to get Lisa back. So stop blaming yourself. The way I hear out here, it would eventually have to happen. Whether yesterday or in a week. And it was yesterday. We have to think about how we could get her back, healthy."

Harry nodded slowly. "You're right. I'll do everything to get her back. Her and the baby."

"Me too.", they all replied at the same time.

Elena P.O.V.

Seeing how the siblings of Lisa tried to find a plan for the rescue, was kind of cute. They gave their bests, but the vampires under them and of course the not-vampires had to say no to all possible ideas. Because they know Klaus better and they know what would work and what not.

They had plenty of time to let everything go through their head. For Caroline, we all know her, had told them everything. And with everything, is meant everything.

            They know now the reason for Lisa's pregnancy and that she really couldn't be blamed for it, because she wasn't the lord of her own body. Neither was Harry. They know now about the magic of witches, including what Bonnie was. They know what powers she possessed and what she could do. They know that vampires are real and they took it almost as easy as Lisa and Harry did. Surely the thought was still a bit strange and scary, but they beat wacker. They know all about Klaus and what caution was now necessary. Well not everything, because that was impossible. But they know what they should know and only that fact was enough. Meanwhile they were aware, in what place and in what world they lived now. Because they realized that all the fairy tales about evil, about evil beings, were genuine. And not only stories therefore told to scare children. Even if that had been the better side of everything. That all this wasn't true and they were all "just" human - and save.

"But what can we do?", Dani asked after a hour. "I mean something has do work, right?"

"Yes.", Damon took a sip of his scotch.

"Klaus is special.", Alaric sighed. "He has so many ... let's tell them friends ... and he get so much reinforcement. We are a little to less, to go on the spot to his mansion and fight against him to get your sister back."

"I hate him for his reinforcement.", she whispered.

"I get an idea.", Elena stood up and walked straight to the fireplace, which was warming the room.
