Lauren P.O.V.
Her gaze slid between Lisa and Rebekah back and forth as she saw how Lisa easily swayed.
"Nobody move!", one of the men warned as he also noticed it. "We should bring to your room."
Lisa shook her head. "It won't work."
"We could-"
"No." she interjected as she put her gaze down.
"Lise.", Lauren hesitated and raised a hand. "Maybe you should - I don't know."
"It's okay.", she smiled slightly, tortured and held with one hand her belly as she sank to her knees and finally sat sideways with her legs placed obliquely.
"Shall we get Klaus?", one of the men looked for help to Rebekah which was Laurens for opinion much too quiet.
"Klaus wants to talk to her afterwards and not now."
"But he would want to know if something is wrong with her."
"It's all right. I already work like that the whole week, aren't it, Erik?", she frowned. "It hasn't bother you until now."
"So-"
"You did Klaus' tasks and that's it.", she raised a hand and drank her champagne glass. "Then why the excitement?"
"She is closer to the due date.", that Erik replied.
"I know that. Better than you, I should think.", Rebekah snapped. "Smart aleck."
Dani pursed her lips. Discreetly she slid closer to her big sister Christina and looked unsure to Lisa, her hair partially covered her face and so they couldn't figure out how big her eventual pain was.
"It would be wiser to bring her up.", the second man said, was getting closer at Lisa.
"It would be wiser to keep your mouth shut, Milo.", Rebekah replied. "You don't bring her anywhere."
"But we don't listen to you."
"Why? Because I'm a girl?", she grinned amused. "It really cute. You forget one thing."
"And what?", Milo furrowed his forehead.
"I'm Klaus' sister, that means I'm also an original vampire and you know exactly what that means.", she waved the rest of champagne in her glass. "You are nothing. One of Klaus hybrids, not more. Your death wouldn't even interest him. You disappear as fast as you turned, maybe even a little faster, my friend. Depends on how you give yourself. "
"How I give myself?", Milo raised an eyebrow.
"Well, darling.", a strange face appeared on the plattform.
There was a woman with wavy brown hair which ranged just above her shoulder. A black dress playing on her figure and a glass was placed in her hand. A friend?
Lauren looked from this friend to Rebekah and frowned.
"Oh the friend.", Erik nodded. "You meant her."
"You can't call so many your friends, right?", Rebekah emptied her glass and looked up at her. "What are you doing up there?"
"Do you think I would like that Klaus is getting on my nerves?", she toasted her. "No, thanks. But shall we get to the point, Elijah has sent me to you. "
"Then he made no allusions?", Rebekah raised surprised her eyebrows.
"Based on?"
"Can you clear your girl stuff somewhere else, please?", Milo said. "For real! Here is just something else important, or not? "

FanfictionAs he stopped after some time of walking, I heard him saying quietly: »You don't need to be afraid, okay?« »I'm not afraid. You're with me.«, I whispered as he introduced me to my feet, holding me as I leaned against him. Now, a smile spread across...
