Lisa P.O.V.

I felt his gaze as he was sitting in the car of Elizabeth Forbes. Caroline's mother had brought the three - together with two deputies - in three cars, one of them was brought to hospital under supervision. Damon seemed to have taken him too hard.

Harry had initially refused to let the paramedic help him as an ambulance arrived as well.

It wasn't until I had to insist on it, then he went - involuntarily- in there and had his wounds cleansed.

"You're also hurt.", Mike said.

After Harry was taken to the ambulance, Mike appeared next to me and didn't leave my side again.

"That's not important, Harry is much worse.", I whispered over Haley's back. "Is Stefan already approachable again?"

"Damon says it doesn't take any longer."

I just nodded and leaned my head gently against my daughter's head.

"Lisa?!", I heard my mom before I saw her.

"You may-"

"It's okay, George!", Elizabeth shouted as he held back my mom and sisters. "But maybe not all at once." She nodded at Lynne, who, with a gesture of her hand, explained to my sisters, that they should wait.

"Perhaps you should take Haley before she crushes her.", I turned to Mike, carefully handing him my almost-sleeping daughter, who wasn't disturbed by the shout.

A little later, I was already pulled in my mom's arms as she pulled me tightly, I grimaced slightly. I could imagine what she must have worried about. After all, I wanted to go to her and ... well.

"I thought otherwise what happened!", she sobbed and kissed my cheek quickly, before she stroked my back and left no place for air between us.

"Mom, I'm fine.", I tried to calm her down and stroked her back, too.

"Not at all!", she shook her head and finally looked at me. "Why don't I see you at the ambulance, why don't you let them treat you?"

"Because I wasn't seriously injured."

"Oh, I think so.", she gently turned my face to the side to see my right side. "He can be so happy that his crappy ass is already sitting in this car. You won't remember the word, little angel.", she added afterwards and looked briefly at my daughter. "Mike, you get her inside and stay with her in the house, do you? Lisa, follow me to the ambulance."

She wiped her tears away and took a deep breath: "Where does it hurt?"

"It is not worth mentioning.", I shook my head and repressed the headache.

"Headache with certainty.", she looked at me as Mike slowly pulled back and I gave my daughter a look before she disappeared from my field of vision.

"Mike is taking care of her, don't worry."

"That says the right one, Mom.", I sighed and looked back at her.

"In times like this-"

"- we should not lose sight of ourselves.", I finished the sentence.

"Come with me.", she gently dragged me with her to the ambulance.

"I'll kill him when he's going to get released, sheriff, that's a promise.", she turned to Elizabeth Forbes as we passed her.

"I know, Lynne, take care of Lisa, and I'll do the rest. If it has to be, go to the hospital, Lisa, the  wound doesn't look good.", she said.

I just nodded before I looked to  the patrol car again, where Riley was sitting in. He smiled at me with an angry smile.
