Chapter 68: Emotions

Elena P.O.V.

"What do you mean with 'You can't make it today' ?", she frowned. "How do you imagine that? That Lisa and I stay here alone? "

"Bonnie is on her way.", Stefan replied.

"Oh wow!"

"I know. I know. Now listen to me.", Stefan interjected before it could proceed. "We talked to Jo, it shouldn't happen something. Lisa is doing well?"

"Yes."

"She still has a few weeks. One night is nothing in the comparison."

"One night can mean anything, Stefan."

"We come immediately in the morning, okay?"

"I don't know ... Bonnie is on her way?"

"Yes."

Elena sighed heavily and glanced through the window into the living room to Rebekah, who caught her eye and raised very slightly an eyebrow.

"Fine.", she murmured. "Rebekah and Hayley are here. Maybe they can stay the night."

Again she looked at Rebekah and saw her easy nod.

"They stay."

"Well, then you aren't alone. What should go wrong? "

"Say that sentence again, Stefan Salvatore, and I skin you when you show up here tomorrow, got it? This set never promises something good!", she hissed almost.

"I take it all back."

"Exemplary.", she leaned against the wall behind her.

"So Hayley and Rebekah..."

"Both are fine.", she assured him. "They had to discuss a lot with Klaus. Lead him on the wrong track, and so on. "

          They talked for a few minutes, before they ended the call when she heard a car approaching.

"Who arrives?", Lisa wrinkled her forehead. "Why are you looking like that?"

"Bonnie shouldn't be here so soon.", Elena replied and headed for the door.

"Why only Bonnie?", Lisa called after her.

She felt a breeze and watched her right where Rebekah was standing as she opened the door. From the living room she heard Hayley's voice.

"Were you flying, or what?", Elena picked facilitates air as she watched how her brunette best friend got out of her car and grinned.

"Why?"

"Stefan told me, that you wouldn't be her before seven.", she left the lobby and walked towards her.

"If I sneak.", she rolled her eyes. "He thinks because I'm a witch, I'm slow."

"For me - you are the fastest.", Elena winked at her and hugged her. "Hi."

"Long time no see. Did I miss something? Do I have to know something? Hello! ", she smiled to Rebekah, closing the car after she shouldered her backpack.

"Rebekah and Hayley are there. Nothing else is going on.", Elena informed her.

"Oh good. Then we are an all-girls band today.", Bonnie pursed her lips. "What do we do without male enhancement?"

"No drinking games.", Lisa blinked when the three arrived in the living room.

"Especially with you I'd like a drink.", Bonnie laughed and hugged her. "How's the little one?"
