Lisa P.O.V.

It turned out that even Elijah was out of house, however still staying inside the city. But not Klaus.

On the second day without him, we had breakfast and talked extensively. Rebekah's friend had presented herself officially to me. Her name was Hayley Marshall.

"A beautiful name.", I smiled.

"Thank you very much. I like yours too. It is simple, but wonderful.", she had replied.

Now I smiled to myself as I felt like something was moving inside me, which wasn't bad at itself. It was the baby. But it felt different this time.

I frowned and put my cup aside, covered my belly and kept quiet.

"Everything okay?", Hayley asked a little later.

"Are you in pain?", Rebekah asked alarmed.

But I just shook my head and pressed lightly against the abdominal wall. I groped slightly harder and smiled again. The head.

"I just realized that I have just one picture of her or him. Jo has always controlled if everything was alright with this small one.", I pondered. "There was always someone who could tell me if the heartbeat was correct."

"That's the advantage when you have vampires as friends."

I groped cautiously, so cautiously. I was afraid to hurt it. Just when I stopped it stopped moving too.

"Did it move?", Rebekah asked.

"Yes."

"This is a good sign, right?"

"I hope so."

"It's alive, of course it is.", Hayley smiled lovingly.

After we were done with breakfast, we got up. Hybrid would clear the table, it was no doubt. We could continue our activities.

"I am outside if something should be.", Hayley nodded toward the patio door.

"And I'm in the office room, you can be alone for a moment?", Rebekah stood beside me.

"Of course.", I nodded and squeezed her hand briefly. "Don't worry. I am not alone anyway."

"The witches leave you alone and the rest of the puppets also.", she answered the squeeze and looked me. "Sit prefer somewhere and make yourself comfy. I can tell that pallor is rising."

"I will.", I smiled slightly.

Finally she went, albeit reluctantly.

"Pallor was never a good sign.", I thought unsafe and forced myself to go.

I went through a door and another until I finally reached the entrance hall and the open staircase ascended. Lost in thought I stroked circles over my stomach, humming. A sound made me keep hold. Frowning, I turned back to the entrance hall.

"Did it knock?", I wondered.

But as I wanted to make one step down again, I felt it. A sharp pain went through my abdomen, after which I bend. Supportively I held the railing, hugging with the free arm my stomach. I grimaced and let out a loud, when I tried to keep my balance.

"Rebekah!", I heard someone screaming out as an arm raped around my waist and hold me, while my legs gave in. "Rebekah!"

I tried to breathe evenly and thus to displace the pain. But it was impossible.

"Oh, I knew it.", Rebekah's voice came. "I should have stayed – with the signs of pallor – by your side."

"It could also mean nothing.", I pressed out.

"What does that mean?", Hayley wanted to know and Rebekah finally arrived.

I wanted to answer her, but there was no need because Rebekah already afforded her the answer.

Slowly they led me down the stairs, which initially went, but failed at the last few steps.

"Wait!", I closed my eyes. "I can't-"

"There are only three left, Lisa.", Hayley explained worried. "You can sit down as soon as we are away from the stairs."

I shook my head. I knew if I do one more step it would be out. After all this, I felt this. I can't explain how and there was no need for it. I felt when something was wrong with my baby and it definitely was. I shouldn't be so emotional the last days.

"It's all my fault."

But before I knew it, I was taken from the stairs – literally – and lying on a couch a little later. But I couldn't relax as I laid on a side und pressed myself in the pillows. Someone was stroking my hair back and whispered something in my ears, but I didn't understand the words. The pain took it all.

My concentration. My strength. My stamina.

                    And finally my consciousness.

Stefan P.O.V.

It was their only chance. Klaus wasn't present. And he would come back in a few days. So when they employed it right, they could rescue Lisa. Whether Rebekah and Elijah were stay by their side or not. But they had to try it. Harry had every hour a worse feeling and he wouldn't rest until he has her back. It wasn't different with the other.

But it was to decide a little discussion, who was allowed to come with them. Even Mike and Alex didn't wanted to watch as they drove away to fetch her sister. They wanted to be there.

"You can't.", Elena had decided shaken her head. "Harry is escorted us and a non-magical person is enough here."

"Alaric and Jeremy are also non-magic people and they-" Alex had objected furiously.

"But they are familiar with weapons and have fought against vampires, Alex.", Bonnie smiled slightly. "This is something else."

"We need to focus on the essentials!", Elena nodded. "And that's to bring back Lisa and not to take additional ballast with us."

"Ballast?", Mike raised an eyebrow.

"She didn't mean it that way.", Damon had groaned. "The crux is understood? We are losing time, if this bickering continues."

Alex had turned his back to the fireplace of the Salvatore mansion and nodded: "Okay."

"We will contact you. But you won't approach, understood?", Damon had viewed the siblings seriously. "Otherwise it all ends in a bloodbath, we're talking of hybrids."

"Well, yeah.", Christina had brushed back her hair. "Bring Lisa heal back, okay?"

"We will give our best.", Caroline had smiled encouragingly.

Now they were once again in the open living room and talked about the plan again. There were two witches needed – Bonnie and Jo. Because if all else torn, they had to make all hybrids harmless. In addition, Jo was important for Lisa, if something was wrong with her. And something was wrong with her, according to Harry and what Harry felt. Damon, Stefan, Jeremy, Tyler and Alaric would stand out as potential fighters on the spot. Elena and Caroline couldn't be missed, and they wouldn't just watch them fight or get Lisa out of there.

"When will Jo arrive?", Harry wanted to know.

"In no time.", Stefan took a deep breath. "You feel good?"

"For now – yes. But it can change every time.", Harry looked to the door behind him. "I just need her back. She is missing and if she isn't okay..."

"You need to be strong, Harry.", Bonnie hesitated. "No bad thoughts."

"You're right."

"She is arrived."
