Lisa P.O.V.

I had always slept by the last few nights until morning. Always. It was unusual, because actually you aren't sleeping that good as closer you came the birth. Because it become more and more uncomfortable, because you haven't that much positions to sleep in during the night. But I hadn't these problems. I always find or found a good position.

But in that very night, I was suddenly awake. And I didn't know why. It was as if someone had flipped a switch and I was awake. Not fully awake, because a certain weariness remained, but awake.

I took a deep breath and looked to my left side, almost always Harry slept on that side of the bed. But he wasn't there, there was Bonnie. Peaceful asleep, she still had an arm around me.

I remembered venture that I had been crying, but I no longer remembered how I fell asleep. Maybe she had helped me somehow. Who knows ...

Carefully I took my cell phone and looked at it. It was just after two.

"Feat.", I muttered, removed Bonnie's hand gently off of my stomach and got up quietly.

Likewise softly, I grabbed a few things and went to the bathroom. Since I knew that they all had a deep sleep at this time, I closed the bathroom door and undressed.

Why shouldn't I take a little shower?

I'll probably can't sleep in the near future, why don't I move the morning routine on the night. If I was lucky, I could sleep at 9 o'clock again. Or maybe right after a hot shower, who knows.

As the warm water rained down on me, I felt a slight pull in my stomach, but it was so easy that I could immediately relax again afterwards. I left out my hair because I had washed it yesterday morning.

I sighed and finally wrapped a towel around my body.

Elena P.O.V.

She had laid in bed around 11 o'clock in the evening. Also Hayley, and Rebekah followed her. They slept in the guest bedroom next to her.

But in the middle of the night she was torn from her peaceful sleep. Her ears literally hit the alarm. Fully drowsy she sat up in bed and throwing her eyes open. Something broke downstairs. She rubbed her eyes and yawned briefly.

"Dammit!", she heard a voice and frowned.

"Lisa?", she muttered, standing up.

In her sleep matters, which was a short shorts and a tank top, she ran down the stairs and stood in less than five seconds beside Lisa. Wide awake.

"What are you doing here?", she took Lisa's arm supportive as she turned to her.

"Why are you awake?", she frowned.

"Why do I ...", Elena broke off and looked down from the pale face of one of her closest friend on the floor.

"I'm sorry.", Lisa apologized immediately. "The jug slipped out of my hand as ..."

Elena's head lifted again: "It's all right. The jug was old. "

Lisa nodded and reached for the dustpan.

"Let me do that. Why does it slipped out of your hand?", she grabbed the dustpan and took the hand brush as well and started cleaning up the pieces.

"I wanted to take something to drink and then it slipped unfavorable out of my hand...fallen on the floor and shattered.", Lisa swallowed hard and put a hand on the work surface, as Elena noticed.

In no time the pieces were put away and she stood with her again.

"What's happening? Something isn't .. "

"I was thirsty."

"You're pale and it is only shortly after three.", Elena said slowly and took again Lisa's forearm. "Aren't you feeling well?"

"I woke up and couldn't sleep. I didn't want to wake up Bonnie, so I got up and made myself ready so far. Now I wanted a drink, in the hope that I could sleep again after that.", she explained calmly and met Elena's gaze.

"You are hiding something."

"How about a delicious cocoa?", Elena raised an eyebrow.

"I'd love to.", Lisa nodded.

"Then sit down. I do that."

Silently Lisa walked toward the couch, Elena didn't let her out of sight for a moment. Full of concern she looked toward the stairs before she prepared the two cocoa mugs and finally went to Lisa.

Lisa had placed herself under a blanket and took the cup gratefully. Thus, Elena joined and announced soon after the blanket with Lisa. They silently sipping their cups and enjoyed the warmth of the drink. Though Elena wasn't cold and don't sweat, she still enjoyed it again and again – as well as she could.

Lisa P.O.V.

After an half of the cup, I felt again this pull. It was the reason why the jug had slipped out of my hand. It was the reason why it is now broken. And it was the reason why I got a firmly grip at my cup and my knuckles became white.

I pursed my lips and took a deep breath. It was now a quarter to five and it was the third time.

"Okay..."

Elena squeezed my free hand. "Everything okay?"

"Yes.", I breathed. "Don't worry."

"What's going on?"

I shook my head until pulling subsided again. Elena's views had subsided when I didn't answer, so she looked at my belly. Her brow furrowed and I went suddenly cold.

"Is something wrong?", I pressed our hands against the abdominal wall. "Elena?"

"What do you feel?", she asked a counter-question.

"Is something wrong?", I shook my head.

"I don't know.", she pressed her lips together. "The heartbeat is irregular."

"Irregular?", I asked, almost frantically.

"Don't be upset. Lisa ... Tell me what you feel! Please.", her eyes met mine, and I replied: "There's a pull."

"Describe it."

We parted our eye contact and looked toward the kitchen. Bonnie stood there in her sleeping clothes and looked at us searchingly, worried and questioning.

"And how long and how many times did you have it already?"

"No.", I whispered. "Oh no!"

The cup found its place on the table and I was weary on.

"No – no – no – no – no – no!!"

"Stay calm.", she rushed towards me and covered my hands.

"But I'm not ready!", I shook my head.

"Answer my question.", she said.
"It's such a pull in the lower abdomen. It was already three times, but it was initially not so bad. Now also not. It was worse back then ... but the beginning it was not like now. I mean ... oh my God, I'm not ready. The last night was a joke! I don't want to hold her. She should let me wait a little longer. She's not ready. ", it burst out of me.

Elena wrapped her arms around me and rocked me gently back and forth. I felt tears running down my cheeks and sobbed.

"When was the last time?", Bonnie stroked strands behind my ear.

"Just ... a few minutes ago."

"Okay.", she took a deep breath.
