Lynne P.O.V.
She dropped on the chair as she realized that her prayers were being answered. Every single one of her evening and morning prayers were heard and fulfilled.
Dumb tears ran down her cheeks as she heard her dead daughter taking a deep breath; this time there were tears of relief and joy and not of sorrow and despair.
"Thank you, God, thank you, that you have given her back to me, a thousand thanks!", she covered her mouth with one hand.
She felt the arms of her eldest son around her shoulder and leaned against him for a halt.
"She's back.", he breathed as he pressed a kiss against her temple.
"Thank God.", she sobbed softly.
On her knee she felt a slight hand and she took hold of that hand; she didn't need to look which hand it was, she recognized Christina's hand.
And then she heard her voice, a little harsh, from the hint of silence, but as melodically as she remembered it; just as loving as ever.
"What's going on here?"
Bonnie P.O.V.
She took a breath! She breathed! A miracle happened!
Lightened, she pulled Lisa to herself, held her head tightly, and wrapped her free arm around her back.
"Thank God.", she muttered, looking up at Jo, who was leaning against the table and took a deep breath as she looked at Lisa – relieved, and finally returned Bonnie's gaze and smiled.
"What's going on here?", she heard Lisa say, it was the first time she spoke again, but silence filled the room as her senses sounded.
"Bonnie?", she felt Lisa's hand on her arm and let loose, so Lisa could look up to her.
Bonnie looked down and smiled in tears.
"How do you feel?", she asked.
Lisa frowned and put her hand to her neck. "Maybe some sore throat, but otherwise good, I think."
"Water.", Jo nodded to someone in the room, making Lisa to look at her.
"Jo?"
"It's all good.", she smiled gently. "We are in the estate of the Salvatore brothers."
Lisa just nodded.
"Tell me, what is the last thing you can remember.", she continued.
Even from this position, Bonnie saw Lisa lash her brow slightly.
"Here.", Elena appeared at Bonnie's side.
"Thank you.", Lisa smiled up at her, but her eyes turned into concern at the same moment. "Why were you crying? Your eyes are so red.", Lisa held Elena's free hand. "What's going on here?"
Elena looked up at Jo and covered Lisa's hand with hers: "Drink something first, so that your voice is fully there again."
"No, I want to know what's going on here.", she shook her head hoarsely.
"What's the last thing you remember?", Jo put a hand on Lisa's upper arm.
"We were ... in the house by the lake, Rebekah and Hayley have come to us ... quite surprising, I remember ... Elena got a call from Stefan ... and then Bonnie came in. Alone, without Stefan ... and ... without Harry, we should spend the night alone in the house ... and the next morning ... they would come.", she brought out with breaks as her voice failed again and again. She had to think. "You ... Rebekah and Hayley have learned that day, that it's going to be a girl.", now she smiled slightly. "You should have seen them, they were quite out of the house.", her hand, which was – to this point – been resting on Elenas, slid to her stomach.

FanfictionAs he stopped after some time of walking, I heard him saying quietly: »You don't need to be afraid, okay?« »I'm not afraid. You're with me.«, I whispered as he introduced me to my feet, holding me as I leaned against him. Now, a smile spread across...
