Rebekah P.O.V.
Elijah had carried her down the last few steps and directly on the sofa in the living room. Hayley was at Lisa's side and gently stroked her hair back, whispered words into her ear until she lost consciousness.
"What happened?", Elijah asked, whereupon Rebekah overcame him.
"Haley and I were one minute not at her side as it happened."
"But how could this happen?", he asked.
"The last few days were probably a little too strenuous for her, Elijah.", she replied with an irritated tone. "What could it be?"
"Calm down, sister.", but his gaze was already anxious to Lisa's face, from which were any power gone. "I let the witches know."
"Is that such a good idea?", Hayley asked.
"Shouldn't we call Bonnie or the other witch rather?", Rebekah nodded thoughtfully.
"No!", Elijah interjected. "What would Klaus think?"
"I don't care what Klaus thinks!", the women replied unanimously.
"I know. But he has some of the best witches. "
"Who hate him as well. What if they make a mistake? ", Hayley raked by. "Lisa only trust Bonnie and-"
"But Lisa is just in pain and unresponsive. Do you wish that we continue to discuss or should we act?!", Elijah sounded serious, so Rebekah became clear that they had no choice.
"If they do anything wrong, I'll kill them.", she threatened, and looked back at the pale body of Lisa.
They vowed her to not leave her side, while the witches helped her. It takes a long time. The procedure, however, it was necessary, because without help she wouldn't have made it.
"She's too weak.", a witch told her.
"She isn't at all.", Hayley shook her head. "She is anything but not weak. You attack her body. You attacked her body and you will eventually pay for it. "
"We have done what was demanded from us.", the witch replied.
"Yes, that's what you always do." Rebekah mumbled. "Are you ready then?"
"You have to leave the room for a moment.", she explained.
"I won't let her alone with you.", both shook their heads.
"Then we can't end the procedure."
"Rebekah.", she looked at her brother, who nodded to her. "I will stay here."
"Why can't we stay here?", Hayley frowned in confusion.
"Because your thoughts are messed up and could come in our way."
"What a nonsense.", Rebekah grabbed Hayley's arm and pulled her out with her, begging Elijah again to watch over Lisa.
They drew off at the moment, where the witches went about their craft.
"What is Klaus doing once he has the baby?", there was hesitation in Hayley's voice.
"He is never going to get the baby in his hands. "
"But what if he do, Rebekah?"
"I don't know."
"Will he kill Lisa?"
"I don't know."
"She won't be useful to him any longer, right? She would only be an obstacle, I mean-"
"Hayley!"
"I'm just trying to put everything in order. It would be possible, or not? "
Rebekah sighed deeply. Of course, she had the thought already. She knew that Lisa won't voluntarily gave up and gave nothing on threats. She would protect everything and everyone, no matter who would come over. It wouldn't matter to her. The main thing for her was, that the person would be safe. The main thing for her was, that her child was safe.
She didn't knew Lisa so far, but she realized early. Klaus had probably picked the wrong person. And not only that. Even the wrong circle of friends of this person. He has already failed once. Hadn't he learned from it?
"We can't talk about it now, Hayley.", Rebekah just shook her head. "We have to wait."
"And whereupon?", Hayley raised an eyebrow.
Hayley P.O.V.
It broke on the second day. The second day of Lisa's unconsciousness. She didn't woke up, even though everything was stable. Her heartbeat and pulse. Her breathing was regular. The baby was as well.
"Is she awake?", Klaus entered the room.
"No." Hayley said without looking up. "Maybe your witches have indeed done something wrong."
"They are the best. They didn't do anything wrong. "
"Why her Klaus?", she now looked at him. "You could take any. Each. You could take the child, kill the woman and can combine Elena's blood to the newborn. Although even that is barbaric, but otherwise we don't know you differently. Give me just one plausible reason why you have to make the life of an innocent woman so upside down. She had nothing – nothing – to do with all of it!"
"I don't know why you should know that, Hayley.", he said.
"It's not my business, but I feel with her. For your sake, she was rejected by her father. "
"I was expelled from mine as well and still live."
"That you are still alive has other reasons, Niklaus.", Elijah appeared in the doorway.
Lisa's room was now on the ground floor and not on the top floor. She should be guarded around at any time and that would be, in the room at the top, inconvenient. So all and everyone could always be at her side, should be something wrong.
"But still, you know what I mean.", Klaus took a seat on one of the padded chairs. "In addition, the ceremony will take place in two days. So the invitations are being sent, and the preparations are in full swing. "
"How can you now think about a party?", Hayley shook her head. "Is that important, for God's sake? That stupid celebration or Lisa?"
"The baby is important and not Lisa. If she stops breathing and can't be brought back to life, the child will be brought."
"The child isn't ready yet.", Elijah said. "It is going to die."
"You forget, that we have witches.", Klaus smiled quietly. "But I can reassure you, Lisa lives."
"Great.", Hayley smiled sarcastically and squeezed Lisa's hand slightly, which rested in her own.
"And if she won't wake up within two days?", Rebekah leaned in the doorway. "You'll wake her up then? Or one of your witches? So you can present her wonderful? "
"That's a good idea.", Klaus nodded thoughtfully. "I think her family would like to see her again safely before birth."
"How can you be so cold-hearted, Klaus. Just so-", Rebekah hissed.
"Don't make a drama out of it, dear sister.", Klaus stood up. " Take care of the dresses for the three of you."
"You won't do that this time on your own? I'm surprised.", Rebekah acted surprised.
"Don't disappoint me.", Klaus left the room, after which Rebekah took her place on the other side of Lisa, opposite of Hayley.
