Bonnie P.O.V.
As Lauren had turned away, she immediately steered toward the front door, her head lowered, she ran past everyone.
Bonnie held her tightly by the arm - once she arived next to her - and drew her gently towards her. Lauren leaned back against her and sniffed.
"She is on the upper right side, the third door.", she whispered to her calmly. "Stay with her until we get back up, okay?"
Slightly nodding, she met her gaze. Dumb tears gathered in her eyes and threatened to swell. Bonnie smiled lightly: "Everything will be fine."
Lauren nodded and disappeared into the house, after which Bonnie turned her gaze back to the self-paced couple.
"I want you to stay away from my kids, Michael.", Lynne just spitted. "If you don't come to your senses again, we were married for the longest time. Think about what you are doing now. "
Bonnie took a deep breath. The heavy air on this plot was tangible and the tension rose dangerously.
"You're making a mistake.", he whispered, looking down at Lynne. "To stand against me is a failure. Lisa and her bastard isn't a part of us-"
Once again, Lynne raised her hand and met his other cheek, whereupon she grabbed him and pulled him to her: "Do call my grandchild a bastard once again, Michael, I swear to God that this was the last time you stand here in front me."
"You're threatening me?", he laughed. "You?"
"Go out of my sight and remember my words."
"Well, if that doesn't go backwards.", Caroline muttered beside her, after which the two exchanged a look.
Lisa P.O.V.
"This is all my fault, Harry.", I shook my head.
My mouth was now covered with my hands and I stared unaltered at the curtains, that blocked the window and the view out to the front yard.
"Lisa ...", he covered my arms.
"They're fighting, because of me."
"This is long superfluous, I suppose ..."
"That does not help me!", I looked up at him. "Good lord, everything goes down the drain!"
"No.", he shook his head. "It will not."
"And how it will.", I nodded. "And all, because of me."
"Lisa."
At the sound of my sister's voice, I instantly turned to the door and met her eyes. Traces of tears had formed on her cheeks and her eyes were reddened.
"Lauren.", I breathed, feeling Harry's hands disappearing from me. "I'm so-"
"Stop apologizing .", she whispered. "If someone should apologize, it's Klaus. This is all his damn debt! Just because of him, we're stuck in this shit!"
"Lauren.", I shook my head slightly.
"It's the truth.", she nodded. "And you know that as well as I know. Even though I haven't seen much of all of this."
I was silent because I didn't know what to say.
"She's right, Lise.", Harry covered my back with his hand. "There is nothing wrong with that."
"Come here.", I stretched out my arms for her.
As she leaned against me and I closed my arms around her, I whispered: "I'm still sorry, that you had to see that."

FanfictionAs he stopped after some time of walking, I heard him saying quietly: »You don't need to be afraid, okay?« »I'm not afraid. You're with me.«, I whispered as he introduced me to my feet, holding me as I leaned against him. Now, a smile spread across...
