CHAPTER 21 Beginning

JD's POV

After 5 years...

I'm here in Davao for a business matter.

"You've made a right decision, C.E.O Chen." I said tapos nakipag shakehands na ako to close the deal.

"I admire your work ethnic a lot. I look forward to your upcoming plans." He said.

"I look forward to our partnership." I said.

"Since you've come such a long way here, please allow me to treat you to dinner."

"There's no need. I have to fly back to Manila tonight."

"That fast?"

"I still have an appointment to do. And besides, its my friend's birthday. I need to buy her a gift."

"If that's the case, let me recommend you to an Art Gallery Exhibit. The art works from there are of very high standard." He gave me a calling card.

And I saw her name. Nakabalik na pala sya.

"Okay. Thank you. I will go to take a look this afternoon."

Nung nakarating ako sa Art gallery hindi ko maiwasang mapangiti. Painting nya lahat toh? Then, may isang masterpiece nya ang umagaw ng atensyon ko... 'Butterfly'.

"Excuse me. This work.."

"Do you like it, Sir?"

"Yes. I like it very much."

"This is only drawing of a butterfly in Ms. Sandara's work. She said tht she cherishes it the most."

"I'd like to purchase this right away."

"Okay. Then I'll have to get confirmation from the artist first. If you leave your address with me. We'll deliver the work to your address after the end of exhibition."

"You don't get it. Is this too complicated for you? I said I want to purchase this and carry it out with me right now. Pack it up quickly!"

DARA's POV

Medyo na-late ako ng dating kasi na-stuck ako sa traffic dahil may banggaan. Kainis!

"Hi Miss Dara." Bati sa akin ni Natalia.

"Is everything okay? Sorry na-late ako ng dating."

"It's okay."

"Saan nga pala naka-pwesto yung 'Butterfly?"

Tapos inassist nya ako. Bigla akong nanlumo ng may nakita akong sticker na-SOLD doon sa painting ko.

"Habang wala ka pa, a visitor found me and told me how much he liked it. He insisted on purchasing it right away. He even insisted on carrying it out today. Hindi ko na sya napigilan, pero we compromised with the sticker. Is there a problem?"

"Actually, this one isn't for sale. Hindi ko in-expect na mabibili sya ganun kadali kaya hindi ko nasabi na hindi ko sya ipinagbibili."

"What should I do? He already paid for it."

"Did he left his number right?"

"Oo. I'll contact him and ask him if we can cancel the sale."

"No. Ako na lang ang kakausap sa kanya."

A/N: O.M to the G! Magkikita na ba ulit sila? ( Tsaka pala, hindi na 'Sandy's POV' ang gagamitin ko kundi 'Dara's POV' na kasi yun naman talaga ang real identity nya. Kawawa naman sya kung nagpapanggap na nga sya sa mama nya, pati ba naman sa POV magpapanggap pa rin syang Sandy.
