Realisation of the Man.

"Don't you think you and Zak should be having this conversation?" Aaron asked as I grew myself on his bed.

"Yes and we have but I can't!" I whined.

"It's just a scar." He rolled his eyes and went into bathroom to trim his beard.

Just a scar... Just a scar?!

I went into the bathroom behind him and lifted my top to show him it. It took him by surprise and shock which made him shave his beard off.

We both watched the beard fall into the sink in horror.

"No. No, no no." He spoke looking at it.

"See this is what happens! This is what will happen! It's that bad you shaved your beard off!" I said throwing my hands in the air.

"I wasn't expecting you to walk in and almost flash me that's why!" He fired back.

"Don't lie, you are mortified by it. As I know Zak will be." I mumbled pulling down my top and walking back into the room.

I heard him sigh and the beard trimmer went back on. A cool breeze was filling his room from an open window so I sprawled across the bed and let the air get to my tummy.... Heaven.

When the trimmer stopped I covered myself up and sat up as Aaron came out.... Beardless.

"Wow. That's gonna take some getting used to." I said as he rubbed his face.

"You're telling me." He muttered sitting on the bed beside me.

I sighed and looked at his hands as he played with his fingers nervously "You should show him."

He said as I said "I should leave him," at the same time.

"What?!" No! Absolutely not!" Aaron answered standing up from the bed and began pacing the room.

"I'm going to have to. No. I cou- I could let him have a pass? What about that?" I asked

"A pass for what?!" Aaron asked spinning to face me.

"To sleep with other women.." I mumbled looking at my lap.

"You! You're out your mind!" He yelled.

"It's not fair on him."

"What about you?! What about you Maria?! How are you going to feel?! It messed with your head when he had Tasha hanging around! Wh- it- no! It's a bad idea!" He fumed.

"Then I need to leave him.." I nodded and registered the heartache that made itself known inside.

"And you're gonna let him go are you?" Aaron asked.

I looked up teary eyed "I don't want to.."

He gave me a sympathetic look and came over giving me a hug "Then don't. Maria you just need time to get it heal. Heal properly."

"That could take ages! I'd rather give him my blessing to sleep with someone else than him cheat on me because of the state of my body." I replied.

Aaron went to speak when my phone started ringing, pulling it from my pocket I saw it was a call from my mum on face time.

Everyone knows you never ignore a call from your mum. A missed call was scary as hell!

"Answer it.. Tell your mom of your intentions, she'll agree with me." Aaron said looking at me matter of factly.

I answered the call and tried to remain cheerful, even when she asked after her future son in law.

'Honey? What's wrong?' She asked.
