I was tryin' not to freak out but a nigga bout to be a dad! Bae was driving cuz he was more stable than I was. I knew he still had his reservations about me telling him this is his kid too but imma fix that shit soon.
We've been driving like mad niggas up on this bitch. When we finally pulled in at the hospital, we ran to the nurses station and she directed us to where Amaya was. We got the elevator and bae took my hand and pulled me in a hug.
"I'm proud of you Jax, you are an amazing man" he said. Shit like this makes me love Kairon more each day.
"Baby, just when I thought I could not love you anymore, you do something to prove me wrong. I love you and I am really happy that I am doing this with you."
We got to the room and the nurses were in there prepping her. She was connected to shit and it looked like an accident or something. Trey, Maliq, Ty, Adrian and Adriana were all there and I was not expecting to see em there, especially not Trey.
"Who is the father?" the nurse asked and I pointed to both of us. She looked confused but when I held Kai's hand she got the picture.
"Alrighty then let's get you daddies into scrubs so you can get ready for the birth of your son."
We followed her and as I got ready, I looked over at Kai and I could tell he was nervous. I stopped what I was doing and pulled him in a hug. I rested my forehead on his and we just stood there a little, feeling and loving the physical connection.
"We can do this and we will figure stuff out along the way so don't worry" I kissed him softly and he smiled.
"I love you baby boy"
"I love you too babe" he whispered. We finished getting the scrubs on and then headed back to the room.

Amaya was in pain and I went over to her side just to support her. I've seen guys hold their wives hand in movies so they felt better so I decided to try. She gripped my hand and everything but I think I chose the wrong time, when she was having her contractions and dilating as the nurse said.
"Shit!" the words escaped my lips cuz she be squeezing my hands like a dude yo.
"Amaya get ready to push because you are almost there honey" the nurse said. They were doing their thing from the other end of the bed while Kai and I were on either sides of Amaya's bed. She was sweating bullets and crying from the pain. I felt guilty that I did this to her.
"Ok Amaya start pushing! Come on I want you to push as hard as you can." Hearing the nurse say that was like nothing else I have ever heard, I'm gonna be a dad! My dream ended with the crushing grip on my hand as Amaya pushed. Kia and I helped her with her breathing while the nurses coached her with pushing.
