"Where do the broken hide?"

Amelia's POV

I cowered on the corner of my cell. It was unreal, the pain I was feeling. My hands shook softly as I glanced around. My breath rattled in my throat as I fought for air. I watched my alpha with a low whine escaping from my throat.

"Shut up you whiny bitch." He snarled at me and raised his hand to strike again. I didn't even have the drive to flinch as he slapped me across the face.

A groan came from my lips and the alpha growled. I cast my gaze to the ground and gulped as his rough hands gripped my jaw and forced my head up.

"Look at me when I'm talking to you." He roared and I looked into his fiery eyes. His eyes seemed to hold an actual blaze as they stared into mine.

"You're a stupid excuse for a wolf." He snarled and anger burst in me but I had no strength to object.

"You call yourself an alpha?" I croaked. Okay, maybe I did have some strength left.

"You are trash. That's all you'll ever be." He spat and kicked my stomach. I yelped and doubled over. I groaned as he kept kicking and watched as black dots started consuming my vision.

"Alpha." A voice suddenly rang out and the kicking stopped. I closed my eyes and tried to go to a happy place.

"What?" The man's rough voice said.

"Rouges near the border. They're asking for you personally." The boy's voice replied and I sighed as I heard the alpha leaving. After I was sure he was gone I let out a breath of relief.

"Get up." A familiar voice suddenly said and I jumped and opened my eyes. I hazily saw a teenaged boy with dark hair and blue eyes. He was tanned and rather good looking. I smiled softly realizing he was the boy who'd often sneak me food and drink.

"Wha-?" I croaked and he growled.

"Up. Hurry! Up!" He said in a commanding voice and pulled me to my feet with ease.

He began pushing me toward the dungeon exit and we made it outside when he stopped suddenly.

"Bite me." He commanded and I looked at him bewildered.

"Please you have to make sure it bleeds. Shift and bite me then run. I'll chase you and tell you where to go but we must hurry." He growled and I nodded and shifted into my dingy white wolf.

I was no Pure White like the ones of legend. No. Just a tannish white wolf.

He nodded and shifted into a large gray wolf before locking eyes with me.

Do it. He growled through the mind link and I bit down on his shoulder pulling away when I tasted the tang of his blood.

Now run. He snarled and I took off toward the woods. He was hot on my tail as we ran on.

Keep going straight. You'll hit Blood Pack's territory. Don't worry they'll help you... I'm so sorry Amelia. Hopefully we'll meet again. His voice rang in my ears and part of me wanted to stop running and thank him.

Keep running. I'm Axel and you're welcome. I whined at his voice and sped on.

I ran for what seemed like hours until a new scent hit my nostrils filling my senses with the pungent aroma. I'd reached Blood Pack's territory.

My run turned into a tired hobble as I trekked through the dense brush and ferns. I was so tired.

I groaned and dragged myself to a little stream and bent to drink. The water felt like Heaven on my dry mouth and I lapped it up eagerly. As if in anger for only water my stomach growled for food. I hadn't eaten in days.

A deep growl made me freeze and I choked on the water. I looked up and froze at the menacingly huge pale gray wolf on the other side if the stream. He eyed me before growling and I watched terrified as two more wolves appeared beside him.

Oh shit I'm going to be ripped apart by an alpha and his companions. I thought and felt myself slump to the ground. The alpha snorted and stepped over the tiny stream and the other two followed.

"Shift." He growled and I felt my body changing after his command. He took one look at my bruised and battered body then looked away.

"What's your name?" He growled and I looked at his deep green eyes.

"Amelia..." I rasped and his snout wrinkled, "I have no pack. I was wondering if you have a place?" I asked in fear.

"Yes we do... as Omega." He growled and I looked away from him.

We will not take an Omega title! My wolf howled in disgust and I hushed her.

"That is fine." I whined and he huffed. The alpha looked at his companions before one disappeared then came back with clothes. He dropped then at my feet and I put them on. To spent to care that I'd been naked in front if them.

After I was dressed one of the wolves, the beta, let me climb on his back and they carried me to the enormousness that was the pack house. To say I was shocked was an understatement.

Once we reached the house I slipped off his back and the beta gave me a prod with his snout. I looked at him confused and then saw him gesture towards the door. I nodded in understanding and went inside.

Moments later a group of men walked in after me. All holding an aura of authority.

The tallest and strongest one looked down at me and I glanced away from the alpha's scrutinizing gaze.

They led me throughout the home telling me what was to be done. As Omega I would have chores to do. Clean the rooms assigned to me, do the dishes, things like that. I nodded in understanding.

At least it wasn't too bad.
