"Its gonna get better."

Amelia's POV

I growled as I walked around the room. I was waiting for my mate. Waiting to confront him so I could leave. I'd made plans.

Finally after some time he came back into the room and I turned to face him. He looked at me with an annoyed glared and Rain snarled inside me.

"It's obvious that you don't want me anymore. This isn't working. You're in love with someone else. Someone who's never coming back and I can't stay here. I love someone else as well... It just took me some time to realize it. I have to go." I said and for a moment I felt my throat clog. I looked up to see Kaden's still glaring eyes.

"So you're leaving me?" He growled and I nodded.

He stomped toward me his eyes blazing and my wolf whimpered a little, "Why?!" He snarled.

"You're still in love with Emma." I told him and walked around the angry male. He didn't say anything as I left the room.

"Say hey to your pup Noah for me!" Kaden called after me in a goading voice.

"Guess you're not so different from your mother are you?" He added and I frowned softly, but kept walking.

When I finally made it to Noah's house I was shaking and tears were streaming down my face. The fight was taking its toll and my heart felt like it was being stabbed.

Noah hurried me inside and pain filled his eyes at my cries. He ran his fingers comfortingly through my hair and I let out a sigh.

"You'd think breaking it off wouldn't hurt so bad. Imagine rejection." I said aloud as my heart clenched and I buried my face in Noah's shirt.

"Hey, its okay baby. Don't cry. Look at me." Noah said and I glanced up at him. He brushed my tears away and frowned worriedly.

"You're gonna be okay, I'm here for you. No one is ever going to hurt you again." He huffed and kissed my forehead before hugging me tight.

"Can I take you out tonight?" He asked after a while and I nodded. I needed to get out.

I smiled at Noah as he ate. He'd brought me to some restaurant. The food was delicious and he'd managed to clear my mind of my mate.

"Amelia you are beautiful." He remarked wistfully and I felt a blush burn my cheeks.

"Thank you." I said softly and he reached across the table to take my hand in his.

"I'd do anything for you. Just say it and it's done." Noah sighed and held my hand tightly.

"I don't know what to say..." I trailed off feeling my heart pounding.

"I love you." He said softly and I glanced to meet his stunning mahogany eyes.

He brought my hand up and kissed it gently. My eyes closed briefly and I took in a breath.

"I love you too." I replied and his eyes lit up with happiness. I smiled at his joy.

"You want to get out of here?" He asked and I nodded. He stood and left cash at the table before we both headed out. His arm wrapped around my waist as we walked to his car.
