"Save a life."

Amelia's POV

*Weeks later*

I was doing my Omega duties aka mowing around the pack house when screams caught my attention. I paused and looked around and saw no one in sight.

I followed the cries leading me into the woods. I'd walked for some time and finally came across the source of the noise. I snarled at the sight in front of me.

Two girls were cowering against each other as a group of men, reeking with the scent of rouges, stalked toward them laughing and talking of horrendous things.

They were so engrossed in the two young girls they didn't notice me until I was right on them.

I stepped in front of the young girls and held my ground.

"Don't touch them." I growled and the men chuckled. One eyed me hungrily and smiled.

"Damn fellas she'd make one fine addition to the team wouldn't she?" The man said and the others nodded and whistled.

"What do you say darlin'? Up for a swap? We won't touch them if you come along with us." He said and his dark eyes roamed my body.

"I don't think so honey." I said letting my southern drawl into my words and the man's eyes darkened with lust.

"Well I'll be damned, pretty miss thang's got a little cowgirl in her." The man said and the others looked me up and down.

"So tell me missy can you ride my horse?" The man asked a gleam in his eyes and I frowned.

"Gross." The older girl said softly behind me, obviously getting the hidden suggestion.

"No but you can leave." I growled rolling my eyes. The man frowned.

"Aww I thought we were gonna have a lil fun." He said with a smirk and took a step closer. A snarl rumbled from me and he paused.

"I said either you or the kids. Its a fair trade so hand them over." He growled and the other men began closing in. My heart began pounding. It was one against six. I couldn't do it.

I glanced back at the girls and caught their fearful eyes. They looked so scared. My body stiffened.

These men were going to hurt them; rob them of their innocence... do everything my father did and attempted to do to me. I felt my fists clench. No way in hell was I letting that happen.

"You will not touch them." I snarled and glared at all of the men.

"Just hand them over woman." One said and I laughed bitterly.

"Over my dead body." I growled then shifted tossing away my clothes.

I stood my ground baring my fangs and my tail raised in warning. The rogues shifted as well and stalked toward me.

"You can't do anything she-wolf, you're alone." One growled and I pulled back my chops in hatred.

"Try me." I snarled and one leapt at me. The girls screamed as the red wolf bit into my shoulder and I whined before shaking him off. He jaws snapped at me and I growled and rammed into him, barreling him over as I bit into his flank. The wolf howled in pain and hopped out of range. I glared as he ran off.

Coward.

I glanced back at the girls and rushed over with a war cry and launched myself on a gray wolf trying to get them. We tousled around grappling before I managed to bite down on his neck. He went limp as the life drained from his body.

"Help!" I whirled around at the cry and bounded forward as the older girl was practically being used in a game of tug of war between one of the rogues and the younger girl. The older one was screaming as the wolf bit into her leg.

"Let her go!" I howled and bit into the male's scruff. He yelped and released her then whirled around and bit my chest. I yipped in pain and bared my fangs. He lunged on me and I could smell his rage and lust.

I snarled as he licked my neck. My fangs buried themselves in his neck and I tugged ferociously as I was rewarded with the sound of fur, skin, and tendons ripping. He let out a gurgling howl of pain and floundered around, blood spewing from the deep gash in his throat, before collapsing some ways off.

Only three more to go.

The younger girl was helping the other stand when the other three jumped on me. I howled and fought against them. Teeth tore into flesh and I yowled in pain and anger. Finally I killed two of them, but I hadn't gone unscathed.

My legs trembled as I stood in front of the pups and growled a chocking warning. My mouth tasted like blood. Gashes riddled my body. My red liquid life spilling out onto the ground as I rocked my head back in forth, ignoring the agony, trying to get the bastard wolf to leave. I was tired, weak, and I just wanted to lie down.

He growled softly but he was hurt as well also. Blood seeped his fur. He looked around at his dead men and snarled softly.

"Leave." I spat and he locked his eyes with mine.

"You'll regret this." He snarled then hobbled away. I waited until he was out of sight to sink to the ground, my legs finally giving out.

I let out a low whine and laid on my side. My heart banged against my chest and the girls crouched beside me. The eldest stroked my ears softly and gave me a smile.

"I'll go get help. You stay here with her." She said and the younger girl nodded and sat beside me. I gave a wolfish nod and off the girl went leaving me and the young child.

"Thank you Luna." The girl said I looked at her in shock.

"I know you're Luna. You saved us and Alpha likes you a lot. I can see the Luna in you." The girl said laying her small hand on my side and her words touched me.

"Why does Alpha make you Omega though?" The girl sighed almost to herself and I huffed.

"Why do you say Alpha likes me?" I asked her questioningly. She smiled at me and I saw the twinkle in her eyes. Her crazy, curly blonde hair bounced as she sat beside me and crossed her legs.

"Don't tell him I said this... but when you're not looking he stares at you. I'm Nancy by the way. And I saw him smile to other day and Alpha never smiles ever." She said the last sentence like it was a miracle and I gave a wolfish grin.

"Well that's good to know, thank you Nancy." I said softly even though it wasn't much use to me. Suppose he did like me... it wouldn't change the fact that he hurts me.

"Alpha is stupid though... You're so beautiful like an angel. And that other girl is nasty looking. She's like the bad people you here about in stories." The girl huffed.

I nodded softly and asked, "Where are your parents?" The girl frowned.

"Well, I snuck in this pack a while ago... my parents are gone... They didn't wake up..." she said and my eyes began to close. I was so tired. Snuck in the pack? So she was an orphan? No one realized? She had to be at least six... Poor girl. She patted my side.

"Stay awake Luna." I heard the girl say before my head laid against the soft ground. My eyes rolled around, going in and out of focus, before everything faded away.

Hey everyone hope you enjoyed.
