Dear whoever you may be,You've read my life. Know me as much as I know myself. Maybe even more.
I always assumed mates would be the cure to everything. That finding them would be a heaven. That they alone would be a shield from all harm. That just meeting would bring about forever happiness.
But of course just meeting does not make it all better. No; there were many hardships, some caused by my mate himself. Some caused by me. Some by outsiders... At times I thought we would never really be together. I figured I'd leave him one day. Yet he surprised me and showed me he could be everything I ever dreamed of.
I used to think having an Alpha as a mate would bring only pain and suffering, but as I lay beside my husband at night I now realize how foolish that thought was.
I am Amelia Ravenwolf, Luna of the Ravenwolf pack of three-hundred and forty-eight wolves and counting and happy wife of the alpha.
My son Julius grows stronger with everyday and being five now, he was really rambunctious. I watched as he shifted into his black pup and bounded around. A smile tugged at my lips.
Kaden Ravenwolf was and still is my rock. Without him I don't know how I'd cope. I'd probably still be a crummy Omega somewhere being constantly tormented.
He's my everything. They both were.
I walked from the bathroom and sat on the edge of the bed.
I sat there thinking about all that had happened in my life. All the hardships and happy times... it was very surreal if you thought about it. Yet my life had ended up a good one.
Though it was full of trials and tribulations, I wouldn't trade my life for anything.
In the end I knew I could never leave Kaden. The Alpha was my rock, my husband, my everything.
I glanced around the empty room before sighing and standing. My hand grasped a picture as I left our bedroom and made it downstairs.
It was late, the house was pretty quiet. I made my way into the living room.
I held the picture in my hand and smiled fondly as I looked at it.
My smile widened as I glanced up to see a young teen walking in the room. The fifteen year old was growing into a lovely young woman. Her blond locks still curled and hung down her back. She'd refused to cut it for a year after the last time where it'd been "too short" and she was mortified (I'd thought it was adorable). Her pink lips smiled revealing her white teeth and her blue eyes shown bright.
"Nancy." I said and her grin grew. She bounded over to me and nudged my shoulder.
"Where's Kaden?" She asked and I shrugged.
"Out; he should be home soon." I said softly. Kaden had had to settle a dispute among two of the Northern packs.
"What are you still doing up?" I asked her and she shrugged.
"Ryan's showering and he doesn't want me around him because... well, his wolf might-" she started and her cheeks became red.
"You don't have to continue, I get it." I said quickly and she nodded and let out a relieved sigh.
"Wassup Amelia? Kade coming home?" I glanced over as Brenton walked into the room. His dark hair was ruffled and his dark brown eyes glinted. My nineteen-year-old brother scratched his chin as I nodded.
