"Being bad felt so good."

Larka's POV

My hands fisted the lining of my shirt as I watched the wolves move around.

"You worthless mutts! First you don't get the Luna and then you mean to tell me that she's moved out and you knew and haven't gotten her yet?!" I yelled and the wolves before me flinched.

"We're sorry Commander... We weren't thinking--"

"You're right; you weren't thinking!" I cut a wolf off and he looked at the ground.

I got up from my chair and marched toward them my lip twitching in anger.

"When are you planning on getting her?" I asked through gritted teeth.

"W-well her mate was with her. The Alpha... They've mated." One said and I sneered.

"She mated with that dog?" I growled and shook my head in disgust.

Alpha's were all weak. They were tied down to their pack and principles. Everything about them made me sick. They were bossy and thought they knew everything. They were fools.

I snorted and ran a hand through my dark hair.

"Mother?" A voice said and I turned to see my son staring at me. I let out a sigh.

"What is it Brent?" I asked a growl forming in my chest.

"The Westward packs have increased border patrol." He announced and I nodded softly.

"They're wary; good." I growled.

"And what of the Northern, Southern and Eastern?" I asked and he paused.

"North has set up more training hours, South has remained fairly the same, and Eastern packs have been consulting with one another." My son said and I shot a look at the other wolves.

"He's more helpful then the whole lot of you." I growled and they looked at the ground.

I curled my lip in disgust and whirled around before marching toward the heart of the camp.

"Warriors!" I yelled and soon the place was full of countless wolves.

"Prepare to go to war! We will attack again soon! The packs will bow before us!" I howled and they nodded and gave rallying shouts.

I gave a curt nod and went back to my post.

I'd get that Luna. She was what I needed most. My weapon.

My blood may spill, but so be it.
