The song 'Caught Like A Fly' by Falling In Reverse is used as a reference to the type of song playing.

Amelia's POV

I walked into my job building. My hair was tied back and my uniform a rather skimpy tank top and short black shorts was covered by my leather jacket.

I walked to the bar and got behind the counter.

"Hey Amelia." A voice said and I smiled at my co-worker Noah. His jet black hair hung in his burgundy eyes and his silver loopep ring shined on the corner of his pink bottom lip. Tattoos snaked up his arms and his knuckles were marred with long ago heeled scars. "Punching shit too much" he'd explained some weeks ago when I'd brought it up to him. He had a striking "emo" look; like a singer of a rock band. He was also admittedly very attractive, if only he'd keep his damn hair back then you'd always get to see his gorgeously crafted face.

"This song is the shit." He said and I took off my coat and started listening to the music.

He let out a whistle as I put my jacket on the rack.

I glanced at him to find his eyes traveling me. I cleared my throat and he looked up with an innocent expression.

"Are you controlling the playlist?" I asked as I listened to the song screaming some lyrics.

"Nope." He said popping the "p" with a smirk.

"Sounds like your music." I said and began getting out cups and such.

"Yeah, so where ya been at? Haven't seen you in a few days." He said reaching over to grab a towel and his arm brushed mine.

"At home." I said with a shrug.

"Well you missed out yesterday." He said as he poured a man a shot of vodka.

"What happened?" I asked and he gave me a look.

"A group of rouges-that's what they're called right?- came in and got stupid drunk... we could've used some help from a werewolf." He said and I tilted my head.

Yes he knew I was a werewolf as did all my co-workers and boss. Werewolves were accepted among the people nowadays... Humans and weres learned about each other in schools. The history classes had been combined and at some schools you'd take human history as well as werewolf history. Though some of the older generation wasn't taught very well.

"Well it wasn't too bad was it?" I tried to clarify and Noah shrugged.

"They tried to attack Jace, but I managed to make them leave." He said.

"Is Jace okay?" I asked. Jace was another co-worker. He pretty much was the busboy you could say. Tall with curly red hair and bright green eyes.

"Yeah he was fine..." Noah said and I eyed him curiously.

"What about you?" I asked and he pulled his shirt collar to the side to reveal a large bandage on his shoulder.

"The crazy jackass could've killed me." He said and huffed. I examined the bandage and he winced as I touched the gauze.

"Don't touch it." He hissed and I frowned.

"Do you want to know if it'll turn you or not?" I asked and his eyes widened in shock.

He didn't say anything else as I removed the bandage carefully and examined the bite mark. He was fine. Just a nasty bite.

"You're good." I said and he let out a relieved sigh.
