"Fighty or flighty."

Amelia's POV

"I'm not worth it? What the fuck does that mean? Get back here!" Kaden yelled after me. I rolled my eyes and kept walking. Of course it wasn't long before he was following me and grabbing me and pulling me back into the room.

"Move." I hissed as he slammed the door shut and blocked it. His piercing gaze locked on mine.

"So you're gonna leave me, your mate, for some mutt?" Kaden growled.

"Don't call us mates now that you know I want to leave. Mates don't always work out; this isn't going to get better. I'm done here. I'm done with you." I said and for a moment I saw an almost pained look come to Kaden's face before it vanished.

"You're not leaving." Kaden growled.

"You wanna bet pretty boy?" I shot back and sat on the edge of the bed. My arms laid at my side and I sighed, "If not today then tomorrow and so on, you can't keep me here. I will leave and I won't be coming back, at least not for you." I said and the alpha scowled.

"You're not leaving me." Kaden growled and I gave him a long look.

"You can't change your mind now. You wanted me gone. You're getting your wish. There's no need for me to be around you anymore. When you're ready for rejection, I'll be waiting to say the words." I said and was proud of myself for replying calmly.

"This pack needs you as their Luna." Kaden said and avoided my eyes.

"Then I'll remain Luna; I just won't be your mate." I said and the Alpha growled, but didn't say anything for a while.

"Does Noah have a pack?" He asked and I eyed him suspiciously.

"Why?" I retorted and he met my gaze, his golden eyes flickering.

"I'm just wondering."

"No." I said and the Alpha nodded slowly.

"So he's a rogue." Kaden said with a frown.

"He's a lone wolf." I countered.

Kaden chuckled bitterly, "Oh my, a lone wolf. Even better." I frowned at the mockery in his voice.

"You're leaving an Alpha for a lone wolf? Do you not hear the idiocy in that?" Kaden said and I scoffed.

"I'm leaving you for Noah. Titles don't come into play here. He could be an Omega for all I care." I growled.

"Yes, you're very familiar with the Omegas seeing you were one." Kaden chastised and I bared my fangs at him.

"Says the guy who let his Beta subdue him." I hissed.

"You let your dad touch you." Kaden shot back and for a moment my heart shattered. My mind went blank. He didn't just go there...

For a while I couldn't even come up with two words to speak and for a moment I thought I saw regret flash in the Alpha's eyes.

"I was a kid! What was I supposed to do?!..... I should've let Ryan kill you." I hissed once I regained my tongue and pushed Kaden as hard as I could.

"Fuck you!" I yelled and slapped him. He growled and shoved me back into the wall.

I managed to push him off of me and with a snarl I lunged myself at him.

We clashed head on and tumbled onto the bed. Kaden growled as I punched his jaw and with a snarl he pushed me onto the floor. I quickly got to my feet before he leapt off the bed and gripped my shoulders in an iron hold.

I gasped as he pushed me toward the window and I realized with a jolt it was open.

I growled and scraped my claws against his arms and with a snarl he wrenched me up by my shirt. I growled as he stomped toward the window.

"Don't you dare." I spat, but of course he did.

I yelped as he shoved me out the window and soon I was airborne. I clenched my jaw as I hit the ground with a thud, but luckily I rolled with the momentum so it didn't hurt as bad as it should've.

Being a werewolf had its perks, a human most likely would've died if not been seriously injured from the fall.

For a moment I sat on the ground in utter shock. This bastard really just threw me out of a four story window... what the fuck?!

I growled and looked up at him my lips pulling back to reveal my fangs.

"You threw me out a window! A fucking window! What the hell is wrong with you?" I spat and stood up shaking with anger.

Kaden just looked down at me and started to close the window as if nothing had happened.

"Bitch ass." I spat and he paused with the window an inch open before disappearing from my view. I growled and stood there with my arms crossed and jaw ticking in anger.

Suddenly the porch door flung open and out walked a pissed off looking Alpha. I tried not to acknowledge the fact he was shirtless and my hormones reacted to the sight of my mate. I on the other hand wanted to kill the bastard.

"Who are you calling a bitch?" He growled and I sneered.

"You." I snarled and he let out a growl.

"Watch yourself." He said roughly and I scoffed.

"Or what?" I retorted and felt my limbs twitching with the urge to shift.

I ripped off my clothes and let myself take on the form of my wolf. Rain bared her fangs at her mate.

"Amelia-"

"What are you gonna do Alpha?" I snarled and Kaden frowned as I crouched to pounce on him. He sucked on his teeth before shifting as well and baring his long fangs.

"Stand down." Knight barked and his voice dripped with authority.

I shook my head and snapped my fangs as I rushed at him.

We tumbled around the yard, jaws snapping and claws digging into each other.

Suddenly out of nowhere he pinned me to the ground and I snarled up at him.

"Get off." I growled and tried to push his heavy body away. Finally getting fed up I lashed out.

My jaws clamped down beside his neck and I managed to get him off. I gasped at the sudden waves crashing over me and Kaden's betrayed eyes told me what I'd done.

I'd marked him again, by accident, but it was too late. Fate did not care about accidents.

We were fully bonded, there was no going back now.
