"Stealing kisses from your missus, does it make you freak out?"

Amelia's POV

Axel followed me to my bedroom. His body heat a nice reminder behind me.

I opened my door and he slipped inside after me. The door shut with a soft thud and I plopped down on my bed, my heart was racing.

It'd been almost a week of me visiting him and I'd finally worked up the nerve to remove him from the dungeons.

"How does it feel to jailbreak someone?" Axel chuckled and I rolled my eyes looking at him.

He looked much better now. His bruises and eye had healed nicely.

"So... where's Kaden?" The beta asked and I sighed. Luckily he was still gone.

"He's off doing 'Alpha business.'" I growled remembering his cruel words.

"I'm sorry." Axel said softly and I shook my head.

"Don't; it's fine." I breathed and smiled at him even though I could feel tears burning in my eyes. He growled softly and strode toward me.

He sat beside me and the weight on the bed caused me to lean against him. Axel groaned as tears ran down my cheeks and he brushed them away while muttering curses.

"You deserve so much better." He growled and combed his fingers through my hair.

I sighed and pressed myself against him enjoying his warmth and gentle hands. He grunted softly and soon his hands were gripping my waist. I gasped at the feeling his touch gave me and the beta leaned closer.

His breath tickled my neck and he gave a deep growl.

"Lay back." He said into my ear and I didn't object as I leaned back onto my mattress. I looked up at him and blushed at the fact that I was allowing this.

He climbed on top of me and gripped my hands in his. Our fingers intertwined and he growled before leaning down and kissing my neck. A moan ripped from me as he kissed my sweet spot; the spot that should've been reserved for Kaden.

"Axel." I gasped as he nipped my neck. He let out a throaty noise and pulled away before crashing his lips against mine.

Butterflies swarmed in my stomach and my arms flung around his neck. The kiss quickly gained passion and Axel gripped my hips and pressed his body against mine. He pulled me closer and growled softly as my legs straddled his waist.

"Kaden's an absolute dumbass." Axel groaned and kissed my neck again before trailing his kisses down to my collarbone.

"He doesn't realize what a treasure you are; its sad really." He growled and sucked on my skin. I moaned and ran my fingers through his hair.

"But I do." He said and his teeth grazed my skin. My body arched against his.

He growled softly and ran his hands down my body. My breath caught as he slipped his fingers under my shirt.

I wanted him badly, but I knew that deep down this wasn't right. Maybe I was too traditional.

"Axel... we can't." I gasped and he pulled away looking at me with a frown.

"Why?" He growled a hurt look on his face.

"He's still my mate Axel." I said softly and the beta snarled.

"That bastard doesn't give a damn about you." Axel growled and I whimpered in pain. He's right Kaden has Amy... he doesn't want me.

"He doesn't love you. Hell he hasn't even claimed you yet." He spat and sat up. His hands ran through his hair and he sighed.
