My Star Trek One-Shots

You wandered through the hallways. Your shift was over, and you had pretty much nothing to do. You turned a corner and spotted Harry. He was talking to Tom. Harry spotted you. He excused himself from his conversation and started heading towards you.

A large smile was plastered on Harry's face as he got closer. A small smile grew on your face too. You had a crush on Harry for a while and haven't had the courage to tell him.

"Hello, Harry. Are you still on your shift?" You asked.

"Almost. I just have to give Torres a report," Harry replied.

"Okay. Mind if I join you?" You asked.

"No. Come along," said Harry, his smiling widening.

You two walked towards engineering.

"How's work?" You asked.

"Good. How about you?" Harry asked.

"It's going great," you answered.

It was quiet for a moment. You got to engineering. Harry stopped just outside of engineering.

"What is it?" You asked.

"Oh, nothing. Just thinking," said Harry.

"About what?" You asked.

"You," Harry said, shifting closer and taking your hands.

You smiled widely. "Aw, thanks."

The doors slid open and two people stepped out. You and Harry stepped out of the way. Harry watched as they left, and when they left, he turned back to you.

"Maybe after this, we could get a drink," Harry said.

"Sure. I'd love that," you said, smiling.

"Great," said Harry. "Now let's go talk to Torres."

The two of you walked into engineering, standing close and hands brushing.
