Rescue Me (Sequel to Save Me) 1D Fanfic*

Chapter 13

Read the surprise from Raquel down below!

"Hello Maggie, how are you," asked Liam.  I think he may have said it a little too loud, because she scrambled back into my arms.

"She is a bit shy," I said, "Maggie are you going to say hi".

She shook her head and looked away from Liam.  I stopped looking at her and back to Liam.  Suddenly Liam made his way back to the kitchen.

Liam POV

I walked behind Allyson, moving really cautiously.  I watched her from a distance.  I could of sworn that I heard the word "mummy".  I watched as Allyson whispered something to someone on the stairs.  I couldn't see who it was. So me being the curious person I was, I walked over to see who it was.  When I got to the end of the steps, I saw Allyson holding a small child, probably no older that 2.  She looked like a complete replica of Allyson.

The hair and face shape was the same.  But unlike Allyson, this little girl had different eyes, they where brown. 

Just like mine.

"This is Maggie," said Allyson.

I really didn't know what to do.  I don't remember Allyson having a kid.  Maybe I was the father, maybe that is why Simon moved her out here. Is that why he brought us here, to show me a child. 

I took a big gulp and said, "Hello Maggie".

She moved herself into Allyson's body.  Trying to hid her face from mine. 

Was she mine? 

We kept up a small conversation.  The first one we have had in a long time.  Once it was just to awkward, I made my way back to the kitchen.

Allyson's POV

I waited till Liam was back into the kitchen to tell Maggie that he was gone.  She was really shy. 

When she looked at me she pointed to her belly, signaling that she was hungry.  I shook my head to show I understand and walked into the kitchen. 

Liam was already gone back to his room with his food, so I fed Maggie and then Colton took her into town with him.  She loved to see all the tall buildings.  

By know I was siting on our patio in the back yard watching small waves hitting the lakes shore.  I yawned from the lack of sleep I got.  I heard the opening of the back door and then someone step out.  I kept my attention on the shore.  Whoever it was closed the door and took a seat next to me, on the bench, I was sitting on. 

"What are you staring at," said the voice.  It was no question who it was.  The one and only Louis Tomlinson.  I turned my head to look at him.

He was wearing a white t-shirt that had some type of stain and a pair of soccer shorts.  His hair was flattened on his head with a few strands popping out from several places.  

His head slowly turned from the water to me then back to the water.

"Well, are you going to tell me," he asked.  I let out a small laugh.

"Just at the lake's shore.  It has a calming feel to it," I said.

He nodded his head.  An awkward silence came between us.  I spent a good few minutes looking back at the shore. 

"I heard about your daughter," he said, "Who's the father".

I quickly looked at him, surprised by his statement and question.  I watched as a muscle on the side of his head tensed up.  He stopped staring at the shore then looked at me.  That is when I noticed something really different about him.  He now had a scare on the edge of his eyebrow.  I had never seen it before.  It was quite small, but just big enough to notice it.

"Well....Allyson," he asked. 

I was about to reply when, the back door swung open and Niall walked out.  He quickly looked at me then darted his eyes at Louis.  I watched intently as his face turned to a bright red color.

"Louis," said Niall as he tried to strain his voice to make it sound nicer, "I need you to help me inside".

Louis looked back at me and then to Niall. He slowly got up and followed Niall inside.

 

       For a while now, I have been writing this story with a girl named Megan.  She pretty much does all the writing and I kind of just review it.  So before the new year comes I would just like to say thanks to Megan for helping me with this story. She pretty much is the bomb dot com.
