Chapter 31

I finished getting cleaning my room after the horrible night I had.  I grabbed a book and sat on my bed.  I didn't want to go down into the kitchen or anywhere in the house, where I could see Jess, or have any contact with a single person.  But it wasn't long before Niall knocked on my door with, a box of donuts and tray of two McDonald's chocolate shakes.  I smiled at his kind thought.

"I hope you like chocolate," he said.  I nodded and grabbed one off the tray.  I then grabbed the box of donuts and we both sat on my bedroom floor, and ate the donuts. 

We kept it silent as we ate, just a distant sound of the show Awkward playing in the background.  Finally he said something.

"So, Jess is here," he said.

"Yeah," I said.

He smiled, "Someone doesn't seem to happy".

"I just, never thought in a million years that she would be living with me," I said, "I feel like there is more to just staying with Louis".

"Like a plan to kill you," he said with a laugh.

"Trust me, she wouldn't be the only one that would want to," I said.

"Really who else hates you," he said becoming serious for a minute.

"I'll give ya a hint, she is in this room," I said as I turned my attention to the TV.

"Allyson, you want to kill yourself," asked Niall.

"Listen, Niall it isn't easy to explain, I have been through a lot, and if it wasn't for Maggie being alive, I probably would have already done it," I said.

"That thought actually came to your mind," he said.

"Several time, actually, onetime... I almost did," I say.

"Why," he said.

"Many reasons, things, people," I said, "Do you mind if we change the subject, I don't really want to talk about it".

He nodded, got up, and left the room.  That was the last time I talked to him for the rest of the week.  He just became imprisoned in his own room.

These days actually went pretty fast and were pretty lonely.  I ate by myself at weird hours, I watched as the boys, jess, and Colton played with Maggie.  I watched way to much YouTube, and read more books then I ever had in the 12 years of school I did.

Finally Niall came out of his room and up to mine. 

"Hey what's up," he said as he walked into my room.  I peeked up from the book I was reading and looked at him.  He was wearing a tank with a pair of board shorts. 

"Well, nothing much," I said, "So, you have been distant for a while".

"Yeah, sorry about that," he said, "It was a lot to take in".

"Yeah, I know," I said," Maybe I should of taken it slower".

"Its fine," he said, "I am with you now".

I smiled and moved myself next to him on the edge of the bed. 

"Thank you," I said as I hugged him.

"No thank you," he whispered as he returned the big Niall hug that everyone always talks about.

"For what Niall," I said, "You did nothing wrong".

"For this," he said as he leaned into me and kissed me.

That is when I woke up.  I was back on the shore and it was really sun, I squinted.  That was when I realized that it was all a dream.  Jess never came to live with me, Niall never kissed me, and I wasn't lonely.  I took a deep breath.

"It was just a dream," I said to myself.  I turned my head to Niall, who was still sleeping.  I felt happy for once, but I wasn't even sure why.  I poked Niall, and he woke up.  Then we decided to head back to the house. 

As we walked, I felt him grab my hand. I turned my head and smiled.  I felt at peace and I wish this moment wouldn't end, but I knew every step was getting closer to the end of it.

Sorry for the last few chapter I had to make you think it was real, but best April fools joke! Right! Right!  Anyways more chapter are coming.
