Rescue Me (Sequel to Save Me) 1D Fanfic*

Chapter 26

I was pretty sure I was crying now, because I was so horrified. 

"Allyson, It is just me," said the voice.  That is when I recognized it. Niall.

I ripped his hand off and spun around. 

"Niall," I whispered, "That is super creepy, how did you know I was awake".

"I didn't, I just couldn't sleep so I wanted to eat something," he said, "I am sorry that I scared you, I just didn't want you to wake up everyone else".

I could barely see his figure in the dark.  Tall, yet muscular.  He walked away and opened the cabinet, and grabbed a bag of chips or something.  I could hear that plastic crunching.

"Would you like some," he asked.

Before I could answer a flash of light and large thunder noise came out.

"What are they," I said.  That was when another flash of lighting hit and a booming noise of thunder sounded again.

"Oreos," he said.

"Sure," I said. I grabbed a couple and was walking back to the study. 

"Hey Allyson," whispered Niall, "can I hang out with you for a while".

"Uhmm," I said that was when a large thunder sounded again.  I was shaking and pretty scared after he scared me and this huge storm that was going on.

"Sure," I decided I mean it is only for an hour.  We walked into the study, which only had one big grandfather chair.

"Let me grab another chair," I said as I started making my way back to the kitchen.

"Allyson it is fine we can just share," he said.

"We can't both fit on the chair, it isn't big enough," I said.

"It is fine we can make it work," he said.  He walked fully into the room, turning on a small lamp next to the door, and then closed the door, moving the curtains in front of the windows by the door, so nobody could see into the room. 

He then moved the blanket to the side and sat down. 

"Niall, I can't fit in that little spot, I need more room," I said.

"Who said you where going to sit there," he said.  I could barely make out his hands, but I could feel them snake around my waist and pull me in.  I cautiously sat down and made myself comfortable on his lap.  He then placed my blanket over us and grabbed the remote.  He then flipped the channel till he came to a show called Awkward.  And my I say all the guys are hot in this show.  About half way threw on episode, I felt myself relax in his arms. 

I also felt him fall asleep.  I made my way to get up, but he must of felt my movement because he pulled me back into his chest.

"I wasn't sleeping Allyson," he said.

"Sure you weren't," I said. He still smiled with his eyes closed.

"Allyson," he said.

"Yeah, Niall," I said.

"Can you put your arm a different way, you are kind of poking me in the side," he said.

"Oh...yeah sorry," I said as I tried to find away to move my arm.  I finally placed my arm around the back of his neck. 

We kept watching the episode of Awkward, when I had the feeling to feel Niall's hair.  I gently wrapped two of my fingers in his now patted down hair.  I swear it felt like a cloud, nice and soft.

"Allyson," said Niall.

"Yeah," I said.

"What are you doing," he said.  That is when I pulled my fingers away and looked at him.  I saw that a few random pieces of hair were sticking out, probably from where I grabbed them.

"Sorry, your hair is really tempting," I said, "I mean...soft tempting...like a cloud".  What a fail at trying to be cool.

He laughed a bit, as I tried to hid my blush.  He also leaned back in the chair a bit, causing me to move closer to him.

I could just see the tints of his eyes in the small amount of light.  It seemed as if we were moving closer together.  Before I knew it, our faces where almost touching.  He leaned in a bit more and gently was less than a millimeter away from my face.  I finally took a small breath and leaned into him just a slight more.

It felt as if I was under a spell, and couldn't break it.
