Chapter 32

We walked into the house and found everyone up and watching the 10:00 am news. 

"Hey," said Louis, "Where have you been". 

The boys all turned to Niall and I and waited for an answer. 

"We just decided to hang out," I said.

"Hang out," said Harry, "I don't believe that".

"Well, believe what ever you want to," said Niall.

"Don't worry, I am not the only one who believes that," said Harry as he walked out of the room.

I let go of Niall's hand and walked to Maggie's room.  She was playing with Colton; she picked up a building block and placed it in his hand. 

"Mummy," she said as she unsteadily walked toward me. 

"Hey, Allyson,"  said Colton as he got up off the ground. 

"Hey, Colton, I thought I would relive you of you duties with Maggie," I said.

He smiled, and closed the door. 

"Allyson, can I ask you something," he asked. 

"Sure," I said as I patted the floor next to me.   Maggie ran and got something in her toy box. 

"So what's up," I asked.

"Well, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind, if I went on a little date," he asked.

"Yeah, sure," I said, "Why wouldn't I approve".  All I could say to myself was keep a straight face.  I never had to deal with the fact that Colton, might like another girl.  He never talked to me about girls or even dating.

"Well, I thought we were more than maybe friends," he said, "I just thought nevermind".  He got up and walked out of the room.

"Allyson, the date is tonight at 8," he said as he closed his door to his room. 

I played with Maggie, until Harry walked into the room. 

"If your here to question me about Niall, please don't," I said looking back at Maggie.

"So he told you about the date," he said as he popped down next to me.

"You knew about it," I said.

"Yeah, everyone, except Niall and you," he said, "I got him the date with the lady from the dinner".

I nodded. "So I was last to know," I said.

"Don't feel bad, you just weren't there," he said.

"I don't feel bad Harry, it just feels weird," I said, "I just never thought he would date".

"Because you have feelings about him," said Harry, "Or because you see him as someone who would always be with you to take care of you and you have feelings for him".

"I see him as a brother," I said.

"Sure, sure, You just hide those feelings in a box," said Harry.

"Harry, no I don't, have feelings," I said.

"Really, are you sure about that," he said.  

"I am sure," I said.  He got up and put out his hand for me to grab.  He pulled me up and said, "Let's test those feelings".

He threw his arms around my waist and pressed his forehead against mine.  I watched his eyes move from mine to my waist.  His lip quivered as if he wasn't sure, he was second guessing.  He pushed me slightly against the wall.  It was cold, and a shiver went down my shine.  He moved his head to my neck and placed a small kiss. 

"Harry, stop," I said, I couldn't do it even if it was so tempting. 

He looked at me and smiled.

"Good," he whispered in my ear, "You have learned you lesson".

I was slightly confused, but I was kind of happy, for some reason.

"Harry, I am confused," I asked. 

"It's tempting," he said, "It means that you understand what love is really about, caring for someone, not just sleeping with them".

"So what does that me," I said.

"It means you have accurately changed," he said as he walked out of the room.
