Beautiful Voices and Beautiful Masks

"Stiles, I have good news!" Scott said running up behind his friend. "Um....Harrison cancelled the science test? Wait, no. They are serving tater tots!" He said with a cocky grin
"Ugh I wish and no." Scott said. "Then what?" Stiles said with a sigh. "Erica and Boyd broke up!" Scott said patting his best friends shoulder. "And?" Stiles said shutting his locker. "A) you have a huge chance to go out with her and B) she is looking for a singing partner for the talent show." He said following after his friend. "Dude, she won't ask me to sing with her! She is too hot to!" Stiles screamed. A few looks and glares were shown but then everyone went back to what they were doing. "I already told her you can sing!" Scott said with a huge smile. " You know I can't sing in front of a crowd!" He said looking at his watch. "Um yes you can!" Scott said "Remember I caught you one day singing." Stiles gave up. He knew his friend won't let him be so he gave in. "Fine!" He screamed just as the bell rang. "Good. Meet her in the auditorium." Scott said walking into class.

"Lyds, please do it again!" Allison screamed in the girls bathroom. "Ally I told you, I only sing occasionally." The strawberry blonde said fixing her hair and glasses in the mirror. "LYDIA!" The brunette screamed. "Goddammit Ally! You almost gave me a heart attack!" Lydia said putting her hand over her hear. "The talent show!" Allison said handing her the paper. "Um, incase you forgot. I DON'T SING!" Lydia screamed at her best friend. "FINE! But you will regret it!" she said with a smirk walking out of the bathroom. Lydia followed behind her.

Two conversations were going on. One about the newest relationship  and the other about the newest video game. They were both separate conversations until the two collided. Lydia's glasses knocked off her face. She grabbed them and quickly put them on. "Oh," Lydia began "I am so sorry!" She looked up at Allison who was holding in a laugh and the boy next to her. "No it is completely my fault!" the familiar voice said. She looked down and saw the one and only, Stiles Stilinski. It took a few seconds to process what the hell just happened. One voice was saying: LYDIA! YOU ARE ON TOP OF STILES STILINSKI. While the other was like: DUMBASS GET OFF OF HIM BEFORE YOU MAKE A FOOL OF YOURSELF AGAIN!

He stood up first and offered a helping hand. She takes the offer and gets picked up off her feet. Her cheeks were a bright crimson and she knew it. Lydia tried playing in cool by wiping pretend dust off her pants. Her next though was to get her book without making eye contact. As she went down, he went down. "Oh my god! I am so sorry, again." Lydia says putting her hand over her face. "Here." Stiles said handing her the books. Scott and Stiles walked away. "Bye. I love you. Please notice me! Because you are beautiful." Lydia says in a very quiet voice while waving. Allison shook her head. "Let's go."

"Erica?" Stiles asked walking into the auditorium. "Over here, Niles." Erica said. "Um...it is actually Stiles..." he says scratching the back of his neck. "Oh I know. I just like making you frustrated." She said with a wink. Stiles stood there in amazement. He was with Erica. She was hot and funny. But especially hot. "Ok we are singing Marvin Gaye." Erica said handing him the sheet music.

Stiles began to sing. Erica was impressed. Now Erica's part. She began to sing. Unfortunately, Erica couldn't sing. Stiles hated saying it but she couldn't. He smiled at her. "Ok well, I gotta run." Stiles said. He grabbed his book bag and started for the doors. "Remember 3 more days till the talent show." She said. He nodded and left.

2 DAYS LATER
"SCOTT! Stiles said going to his usual lunch spot. "What happened now?" He asked sipping his water. "Masks. SHE WANTS TO WEAR GODDAMN MASKS." he said with a huff. "Dude, just go with it. She is hot!" Is all Scott said. "Whatever!" Stiles said leaving to go into the auditorium.

"Stiles! You are not working with me!"
Erica screamed. "Sorry." Is all he said. "Get it right! The talent show is tomorrow!" Erica said getting off the stage.

"NO! THIS CAN NOT BE HAPPENING!" Lydia screamed in her phone. "I told you to step up when ya can." Ally said sarcastically. "I will call you later." Lydia said hanging the phone up. Her world was tumbling down. Stiles and Erica! she thought I can already see the babies.

She said out loud. "You know what" she looked in her mirror "Lydia Martin is going to support her crush of oh-so-many years! " She took her glasses off and laid down. Hoping to have a dream about Stiles.

DAY OF TALENT SHOW
"Ally, when is Stiles gonna perform?" Lydia asked. "In about 20 minutes." Allison said looking at her watch. "In am going back stage to say good luck." she said getting up. Allison nodded and she was gone.

"Boyd! Are you serious? Of course I will take you back!" Erica squealed. She walked out of the dressing room with the mask. Lydia happened to be walking past her. "Um, excuse.me." Erica said to Lydia. "You are going on stage for me!" she said running out of their quickly. "But-um." Lydia stammered. But Erica left.

"C'mon Lydia, you can't let Stiles make a full of himself!" Allison said looking at the mask. "I know, but he is expecting Erica!" She screamed. "Do it! Look at his face." Allison pointed at Stiles with a huge smile. That smile is Lydia's kryptonite. "Fine!" Lydia said.

"Next up is Stiles Stilinski and Erica Rayes." Scott announced. Some how he ended up judging. Stiles walked out singing his lines. He was expecting Erica but got a beautiful strawberry blonde girl with Erica's mask. Her voice was angelic. He didn't know who she was but he had fallen for her.

Lydia thought she couldn't do it. But she did! As soon as the song ended, she ran off the stage and grabbed Allison. "Wait!" Stiles said but couldn't catch up with her. Scott walked up amazed. "Dude, whoever she is I love her." He said.

"ALLISON! LET'S GO!" Lydia screamed running out of school. They hoped in Allison's car and drive away. "LYDIA MARTIN I AM PROUD OF YOU!" Allison screamed. "Can we not talk about it now?" She asked. "Fine." Allison said.

Monday Morning
"Lydia!" Allison said running up to Lydia almost tackling her. "What?" Lydia said. Allison dragged her into the bathroom. First she examined every stall. "Ally! C'mon I'll bet late!" Lydia said pushing her glasses up. "YOU WON THE TALENT SHOW!" She screamed. "What?" Lydia felt dizzy. All of these thoughts in her brain. "Lyds, are you ok?" Allison asked. "Perfect!" she smiled . "I have to go to class. But you need to tell him!" She screamed leaving the bathroom.

Lydia's back hit the wall. Slowly, she slid down. "Why? Why me?" Lydia asked herself. The bell rang but she could care less. No one came into these bathrooms so she was perfectly fine right here. She closed her eyes and imagined Stiles disappointed about Lydia being the mystery girl. She took her glasses off and started crying. More images popped up. Her breath getting heavier. All she could do was sing. She started singing the first song in her mind.
              Baby, please have mercy on me.

Stiles was late for class, as usual. But this time he was stopped by something or someone. It wash the voice. Her voice. Mystery girl was singing.
                 Take it easy on my heart.

She kept singing. Quickly, he opened the door to see the girl he bumped into a few days ago. "Lydia?" he asked. "Stiles! Um..." She couldn't think of anything. She ran into a stall. "Lydia? C'mon." He said knocking. "Just go away." she said faintly. "Why?" he asked. "I don't need anyone seeing me cry." she said through her tears. "I think you look really beautiful when you cry." he said slouching against the stall. She smiled a little and opened the door. He fell in the stall. "Well, mystery girl. I think I like you and your voice. And not just because we won." Stiles said with a smile. Lydia grabs a tissue and cleans herself up. She grabs her glasses and puts them on. "Her is the real mystery girl." she said putting her hands on her glasses. "And I can't wait to meet her!" Stiles said with a grin.

THAT TOOK ME SOOOO LONG TO WRITE! WELL I AM GOING TO BED BC IT IS ALMOST 12! GUYS I READ/AM READING (THERE ARE 3 STORIES) THIS AMAZING BOOK CALLED "LET IT SNOW" IT IS AMAZING! THE FIRST STORY REMINDS ME OF STYDIA(i just finished the 1st story). I AM SORRY THE ENDING WAS CUT SHORT! THE TOTAL WAS 1400 WORDS! ANYWAYS GN💕 BTW I THINK THIS IS MY LONGEST CHAPTER;)
