Can't Forget

Chapter 16

  As Ko and BG walk into the gym the principal is taking up money and he looks and shakes Kolby's hand and tells him that he can use Coach Jaxon's plus one on the coaching card that no one has used it yet. Ko tells him that's okay let one of the kids use it. They both pay and BG looked at him and said," I am taking you have been around if they know you on sight to use Coach Jaxon's coaches card"
Ko grins," yeah we don't live that far apart and I came down at least twice a month to watch games sometimes more. You and her weren't speaking but she and I well we never really stopped. Get over it she's my sister and someone had to be there for her."
BG said," Im not upset bro, I'm glad she had you."
  They walk to the court doors and BG stops and said," damn she looks good"
Ko grinned,"you haven't seen her like this if you think that she looks good now wait till she's on her girls or the ref and you can see the fire in her eyes. Y'all want to take things slow well this ain't gonna help."
   BG growls as he watches JJ and Ko laughs and tells him to back down that the cop was just a friend and he's a good guy has JJ's six.
BG said, "don't mean I want her to be touching him or him her."
Ko laughs and said,"come on and let's get a seat"
They head to the stands and find a seat. Several people say hello to Ko and they make their way in . Oakley comes out of the locker room and is talking to JJ on the other side of the court, Ko nudges BG and shows him Oakley so he can put a face to a name. JJ and Oakley walk into the locker room since it was just a few minutes left in the game before theirs.
JJ comes out and BG watches her walk around the court as the game ends. She still hasn't spotted them in the stands and they are gonna keep it that way as long as they can. JJ is wearing a pair of grey dress pants and this royal blue shirt that has a vneck and high heels that appear to be 3 inches. She looks amazing all dressed up professional . BG hits Ko on the arm and asks "okay how does she keep from breaking her neck in them damn heels cause I know if she coaches like she played it's all out and with emotion and she will jump up and down."
Ko laughs," yep you know her well and I asked the same question. Her response was that men referees called better for her if she was dressed up versus if she wore comfortable shoes or track pants. So she uses it to her advantage said she wanted to be taken as a professional not a wanna be coach"
"Well bro she looks damn good all dressed up but then again she looks good in sweats and a tshirt always has, I just haven't seen her like this, it's almost like watching a stranger."
  They tip off and BG sits back and watches JJ coach and he is filled with pride and awe. She holds her own even though she is young and female. She has her teams respect you can see it in their eyes. Her girl Oakley can play ball, and she listens to JJ when she tells her what she can do to be better. It makes him wonder if JJ has told them she played college ball. She coaches like she played all out and intense. She paces and yells and cheers, hell, it makes him hard just seeing her fire, truth be told it always did. About that time one of the other team players fouls Oakley hard and JJ goes off on the ref cause he didn't call it. She call time out and tells them she wants to talk to him. As she's chewing him out BG yells," Get 'im coach"  The fans are all up and yelling so he thinks she won't know he yelled.
   JJ finished chewing on the official and told her girls to remember their game plan and know that they weren't going to stoop to that level, play hard and stay classy. Then she turns to to stands and she points to BG and throws up their rock on signal. He laughs and Ko said," she will always know your voice and pick it out  in a crowd bro"
  JJ heard a voice yell for her to get on the official and she knew it was BG. She heard that voice in every high school game she ever played and some college games. She finished the chewing on the official and turned pointed to BG and threw up their rock on signal. JJ coached and forgot about the crowd and focused on the game. She led her girls to a 25 point victory mainly because they were ahead and the other team started fouling and put her girls on the line and that is a mistake. JJ makes sure they all can hit free throws cause she knows from experience that it can win you games or lose you games. As she is shaking hands with the other team and heads to the locker room she notices Oakley's ex- boyfriend in the lobby. She makes a beeline to the cop, her friend David, and gave him a heads up.
   BG and Ko were watching JJ and BG stands up and starts making his way down the bleachers and Ko was following. They both saw a change in her body language and she made a beeline for the cop said something and then went to her locker room. Ko tells him to follow him they can wait outside the locker room where they saw her when they first got there.
   JJ comes out and Ko hugs her and tells her if this was how they looked first game then he can't wait to see them make a run in the playoffs. JJ laughs and tells him that she hopes so but got a lot of work between now and then. She turns out of Ko's hug and BG picks her up in a hug and whispers," you make me hard seeing that fire in your eyes coaching but then again watching you play always did"
  JJ blushed cause those words and his breath on her ear and neck made her wet. He set her down and kept her arm around him and he kept his around her. She asked them what they were doing here, BG answered her," I know you didn't think I would miss your first game now that you are back in my life"
  "Well I thought you were on tour and I expected you at some point but not tonight. How did you sneak in?" JJ told him.
   " You were over here when we came in now why did you change your body language after the game and head to David" Ko asked her.
  "Oakley's ex-boyfriend is here and I wanted David to know." JJ told them.
   "Is he gonna give you trouble?" BG asked
  "I don't know to be honest he's a loose cannon always has been" JJ answered.
  Oakley came out and stopped with her eyes wide,"Oh my gosh you are BG! Coach you have your arms around BG!! Ko, why did I not see that you are his brother!!" She turns and runs back in the locker room yelling "y'all got to see who Coach Jax has her arms around out here it's BG and I bet y'all that's why she is wearing that smile all the time. Who are we kidding I know I would have a smile on my face if that sex on a stick had his arms around me."  The whole team comes running out and JJ is blushing and laughing cause BG is grinning and scratching the back of his neck. Ko is rolling bent over laughing at Oakley's statement.
JJ said," Girls you all know Ko, well to formally introduce you this is Kolby Gilbert one of my best friends growing up and his brother Brantley Gilbert, my other best friend growing up. Kolby you know my team but Brantley as you saw them play tonight this is my team."
   Oakley said," you got some explaining to do, both of you and she turned to Kolby, all the conversations we had and you let me go on about what a great singer he was and never said a word and you Coach Jax letting me go on and on when you played his music at practice and how he was your favorite singer."
BG said," well Oakley you and I may need to have some talks about what all Coach Jax said about me at practice and I am pleased to meet you, glad to know you are a fan cause after seeing you play I am a fan of yours. You keep listening to Coach Jax and you could follow her footsteps in college."
The whole team looked at JJ and BG and Oakley said," What do you mean follow her footsteps?"
BG looked at JJ and said," they don't know?"
JJ shook her head no. BG whispered in her ear, "I'm sorry" She smiled at him and whispered back," you owe me baby"
BG growls and tightens his grip on her shoulder as a JJ tells her team that she played college basketball for a couple of years. They all look at her and said," we gonna talk at practice tomorrow Coach Jax"
JJ looked at her team and said," Y'all need to go get dressed before we really do cause a scene. Oakley you want to walk over to the bleachers with us?"
Oakley looked at JJ and said," he's here isn't he ?"
JJ nodded her head and Oakley said,"yeah I would feel safer in a group. Ko threw his arm over her shoulder and said," come on girl let's get something to eat and those two love birds can follow us." So they walked to the lobby of the gym and got something to eat and drink and made their way into the gym when Tyler grabbed Oakley's arm and spun her around. JJ told him to remove his hands off her and Tyler said," Bitch you need to mind your own business"
BG said,"Son you need to watch who you are calling a bitch. And like JJ said move your hand off Oakley before I remove it for you."
Tyler looked at BG and then Ko and said,"We ain't done Oakley"
Oakley said," Yes we are done Tyler. I am better off alone than I am with a little boy who thinks it's okay to hit a girl. I ain't ever gonna be with you again. Leave me alone."
Ko said," you heard her so it's best you just leave and forget you ever knew her."
They all walk to the stands and find a seat. BG sits behind JJ and beside Ko and Oakley sat in front of Ko by JJ they talked until the boys game was over. Ko said goodbye and told them he would talk to them later. Oakley asked if she could walk out with him. Ko told her yeah that he was about to ask. They said goodbye and JJ turned to BG and said," what are your plans"
BG leveled his gaze and said," I had planned going home with you darlin' "
JJ looks at BG and said," okay let me get my bag and we can leave."
He said," you taking your roses home?"
JJ turns," No I left them in the foyer at school for decoration"
"I think Chase sent them JJ, and I'm just gonna say it cause we have always been honest with each other, I think he's not through with you" BG said
JJ stopped walking and turned to BG," I don't know if he sent them but I'm telling you right now I'm through with anything but friendship with him. WE said that WE were gonna give us a try and that means faithfulness on both parts. So if he ain't through tough shit cause I am and if he can't handle that then he can take it up with you." and with that she turned around and walked to her office and he watched that juicy ass he loved. JJ says," you gonna stare at my ass all night or are we gonna go home?"
