Can't Forget

Chapter 30

It's Thursday and JJ is in her office working on a report that she has to get done and submitted to the state so she worked through her lunch time. When she finished she told Anita since it was senior high lunch she would just go to the lunchroom and eat today. Anita told her to go ahead she deserved a break.
  JJ was talking to her girls and they all stopped and were staring at the door. Oakley told her to turn around. When she turned around there in the door stood BG in a tight grey tshirt and his blue jeans with chains and rings and his hat on backwards. JJ smiles and excuses herself from the girls and walks to BG.
"What do I owe this surprise to cowboy?" JJ asked as she hugged him and kissed his cheek.
He tells her," I brought you lunch and thought we could eat together and maybe I could get your key so I can chill at your house until you get off and if it's okay stay with you this weekend."
JJ smile just got bigger and she said," that sounds wonderful but you know that you being here may cause you some problems as most of these kids are fans. As far as my house I have you a key, and I would love for you to spend the weekend with me. So what's for lunch?"
BG laughed," One of your favorites Jim n Nicks, and good to know I have fans here."
JJ takes him to a table and they sit down and start eating.
"Thank you for lunch I wasn't looking forward to eating in here today but I was running late this morning and didn't pack my lunch. But seriously why are you in my neck of the woods?"
BG said," I told you JJ I brought you lunch and I want to spend some time with you. I missed you baby. I lost 5 years and I'm trying to make up for lost time since I am not touring right now."
" I'm glad you came, I have been missing you really bad."
  One of the senior boys came over and said,"They all dared me to come ask you cause word is that you BG are seeing Coach Jax and that you and Chase Rice got into a fight over her. Is that true?"
JJ said,"Hayden you are one of my favorites and you know that but we aren't gonna go there okay."
BG laughed," Why JJ I don't care so why should you?"
JJ glared at him and then grinned. BG looked at Hayden and said," Coach Jax and I grew up together and have been best friends for a long time. But to answer your question yeah we are seeing each other and Chase and I didn't get in a fight, I whooped his ass cause he messed with my girl. That is something I won't tolerate."
JJ whispered yelled,"B you can't say that to a kid."
Hayden said," He sent those awful roses didn't he? Coach Jax you hate red roses everybody knows that and he's right you don't mess with a mans woman that's a way to get whooped around here."
BG laughed and high fives Hayden as he heads back to the table of boys. BG watches them and they all give him a thumbs up and he shakes his head and said," I think you have some admirers JJ"
JJ shakes her head and said," They are all a mess and keep me on my toes that is for sure but I would do anything for them and have for some. They are my babies."
"Since you mentioned babies I figured you would have settled down and had at least one by now, personally I'm glad you hadn't but I do have to ask why not?" BG said
JJ looked at him and said," you have to..crap!!!"
JJ gets up quickly and runs to the table as she does this BG turns around and sees that 2 guys are in a fight and JJ is barreling right into the middle of it and he stands up worried about her. He sees a couple of male teachers head that way.
JJ runs and is the first one there and she steps in between them yelling at them to stop. She pulls Jake off Levi and tells him to go sit at the table where she was eating. She helps Levi up and said," you want to tell me what this mess is about. You have a ballgame tonight and tomorrow night and you can't play if you get suspended, neither one of you!"
Levi just looks at her, she gets ice and has him put it on his eye cause he's gonna have a shiner. JJ turns Levi over to Coach Sanders and goes to Jake checking him over," want to tell me what this mess is about Jake, y'all are teammates have a game tonight and tomorrow night and if you get suspended you can't play. So what was so important that you had to fight about?"
Jake looks at her and doesn't say a word. She checks his hand out and cleans up his knuckles with the first aid kit she keeps in the lunchroom. BG watches her with the boys and doesn't say anything.
JJ said," Jake you better start talking right now and tell me what the devil is going on, why are you beating on Levi y'all are best friends?!! Jake I am not playing what made you lose it? You never do something like this??"
Jake said," he started running his mouth and I told him to shut up and he kept on and I told him again to shut up if he didn't want me to shut it for him and he still kept on talking shit so I beat his ass. "
"Jake language, watch it! What was he saying that you just couldn't walk away from just tell me that right now"
"I can't say what he said Coach Jax to you it was about a female." Jake said.
"That has never stopped you before Jake so you better get to explaining so I have a leg to stand on when I got to bat for you boys with Principal Hayes."
"Coach Jax I respect you and I can't.."JJ interrupts him"I'm a nurse Jake I have seen and heard everything,  heck I ran with BG so there ain't nothing you can say that will shock me."
"Levi was running his mouth about you and how hot you were and that you had to be a good lay if you had 2 country stars fighting over you. I told him to shut up and he continued on about what he would do to you in detail so I warned him again and then when he kept on I whooped his ass." Jake told her.
JJ looked at him then looked at BG out of the corner of her eyes. He sat down with his back to the kids. JJ told Jake to go finish his lunch and head to the office when lunch was over. Coach Sanders came up and said,"Did you get anything out of Jake cause Levi isn't talking."
JJ said," I did but I will let you go ask him to tell you the whole story cause I got the cleaned up version. I know you need both of them tonight and tomorrow Coach so I will do whatever I can to help you out so they both don't get suspended."
  JJ sat down and BG said," what the hell JJ do you do that often?"
JJ looked at him and said," do what?"
BG said," go busting up fights between guys twice your size?"
JJ laughed," Only when I have to, and you know what it makes me feel like I am 17 again and getting in between you and whoever you were pissed off at. But no not often I just happened to be the closest to them."
BG shook his head and said," Jake needs to be rewarded do you know if he is a fan ?"
JJ laughs,"Yeah he is and Oakley is his best friend, they remind me of us in school. Why?"
"Cause I need to do something to show my appreciation to him for whooping that other ones ass. And I was thinking 4 all access passes to one of my shows."BG said.
JJ looked shocked," you cannot reward his behavior depending on how Principal Hayes handles this it could possible cost them 2 area games you got to think before you act."
BG looked at her," JJ he was standing up for your honor so I will reward him and I get the other one too, he sees a hot woman and knows what he wants to do to her. I get it but it still pisses me off that I can't beat his ass cause he definitely was disrespecting you."
JJ smiled," if I wasn't at work I would kiss you right now, but since my lunch is over I guess giving you the key to my house will have to do."
BG smirked," I will take a raincheck on that kiss and gladly accept that key."
JJ handed him the key and gave him a hug and he kissed her on the cheek and told her he would see her when she got off work.
