Can't Forget

Chapter 76

  JJ was sitting in her office working when Oakley knocked on the door and asked if she had a minute to talk. JJ told her," Come on in and tell me what is on your mind."

"Well you know Prom is coming up next week and I was wondering if it was okay if I asked Kolby, I know I have to get your approval and Mr Hayes. I guess I am asking if you will help me out on both accounts. Can you talk to Mr Hayes and will you help me talk Kolby into it?"

  JJ smiles," I will talk to Mr Hayes and I have no doubt he will sign off on it but I think you need to talk to Kolby yourself. I will encourage him to go if he consults me and will have BG do the same but I will not bring it up to him. That is between you two. I do advise that you sit down with him and talk to him face to face. Listen to him, explain your reasons why you want him to go with you and come to an agreement that both of you will be comfortable with, okay?"
"Thanks Coach Jax, sorry Coach Gilbert. I got to get used to that." Oakley told her.

  JJ laughed," well you aren't the only one who is having to get used to it."

  JJ thought about how her life had changed and she missed BG something bad. He has been on tour and she has been busy that other than FaceTime and Skype they have not seen each other in 3 weeks. The last time they had a weekend was when she took Cam and they flew to see him. Work has had her swamped trying to make sure everything was done since she would be leaving her job in 5 weeks. She had physicals and screenings done and had been getting all the paper work turned into the State.  She had been helping the Junior Class with Prom and it was a week away. This weekend they would be starting on the gym as well as every night next week. She was so tired she just wanted BG and she knew it would be 2 more weeks before that would even happen. She snaps back to the present and decides to talk to Mr Hayes about approving the outside dates and get that part over with.

  As she is walking down the hall Lana comes up beside her  and asks,"Are you okay? You just don't seem like yourself"

  JJ looks at her and says," No I am not okay I miss my husband and I am dying knowing that it is going to be 3 more weeks before I can see him again. Lana it is not just about the sex, it's the not waking up next to him or laying my head on his chest at night or coming in and cooking and us eating at the table talking about what we had done today. What the kids have done or what song he is working on or what hunting trip he wants to do next. I just miss him being in my life every day. Yes we talk about all those things wit our phone calls and texts but it's just not the same as having him in the same room as me, touching me or smiling at me and I know I am pathetic and I know I agreed to it because I didn't want to wait to get married but it just sux like hairy balls."

Lana laughs," Girl you really need to see your man and have some time cause I have never gotten that much out of you in the middle of the hallway. I think you need to take a day and fly to him and stay in bed with him and then come back refreshed, that is if you can walk after he screws your brains out being apart this long."

  JJ just laughs and said," that is an idea. Now I need to focus cause I have to go talk to Mr Hayes about Prom and getting approval on the dates from outside. We have to decide who we are going to allow."

  JJ has the list of approved dates and they have all been notified, she was glad that it wasn't a bad group like last year. She also calls David the towns police chief to notify him of Prom night so they can have extra patrols in place. She has finished her paperwork and starts to shut down her computer and realizes that it is 6pm. She needs to hurry to get home so she can talk to BG at their appointed 6:30 pm nightly phone call. They usually speak just a few minutes and then have a long conversation when he is done for the night around 11 pm.
   JJ is making her way in the door when her phone rings and she drops her bag and answers," hey baby"

"Hey darlin' how was your day?"

"Long I have just walked in the door and I am beat" she tears up

"JJ what's wrong it sounds like you are about to cry"

Sniffing and wiping her tears away she says," I'm just missing you really bad today. I told Lana it wasn't even about the sex it was more about not being able to touch you or have you hold me the just being together. I'm dying knowing it's gonna be 3 more weeks till I can see you. "

"Oh darlin' I'm sorry you are breaking my heart baby but I do know how you feel. Ben told me today that I needed to go jack off so I wouldn't be so snippy with them. I didn't think it was bad but they were all getting on my nerves so just know it isn't just you that is affected by us being separated."

"Lana told me I needed to take a day off and fly to see you and spend the day in bed with you and then I would come back refreshed. I told her it was something to think about. I haven't used it yet but my vibrator is about to get taken out. I was trying to wait on you."

"Aw hell JJ I'm sorry, how about this we will talk tonight an I will help you while you use that vibrator but it's gonna have to wait till later. Can you do that baby?"

" That sounds like a date to me and maybe I can help you out with your big problem too. That way we both get a little relief until we can see each other again."

" Then I will talk to you at 11 pm baby and be ready for me to rock your world. I love you JJ "
