Chapter 37

JJ gets in the truck and grabs her phone calling Coach Taylor.

CT: JJ what do I owe this pleasure?
JJ: I have some questions about your offer, what duties does this entail?
CT: Well I had envisioned you going and scouting girls we hear about and if you want to help while here in Georgia with practice and on the bench then after what I saw in the game the other night that would be great.Why?
JJ: Well BG has asked me to move home with him and I was wondering what my life would be like with this job.
CT: Well its all what you want it to be, I know he tours most of the year and if you are asking me if you could be a recruiter and tour I don't see why not, granted there will probably be times I need you to visit a certain player and it won't line up with his schedule but I will generally give you free reign.
JJ: Okay thanks Coach for answering my questions

BG is talking to his momma telling her that he has asked JJ to move home with him, momma opens her mouth and before she can speak he said,"before you go jumping down my throat about us living together not married momma I plan on making JJ my wife if she will have me but I also know she's got to be able to trust me and I don't think she fully trusts me just yet. She's so afraid that I will find someone else and leave her alone like I did when Amber came in the picture. But honestly Momma I'm not scared of commitment I want marriage and babies and the whole bit with JJ I have just been scared of committing to the wrong person. Cause now that I look back JJ took my heart when she was 10 years old and never gave it back. But I know she has to come to me and I have to be patient and wait cause I know I put her through hell, even though I never meant to. So I can't ask her to marry me just yet cause she ain't ready for that, it scared her to death when I mentioned babies and long term and moving in together."
Momma said," Son I want you to think about this, do you think that JJ is gonna be okay moving in together without knowing you are committed? If you want her to be your wife then I suggest you ask her and make your intentions crystal clear cause I get the feeling that is what the problem lies. Not that she's not ready but that she thinks you aren't ready cause you haven't asked just asked about moving home and living together. What about a ring have you thought it through?"
BG said," I have Nana's ring that Pop gave her and I thought I would ask with it and if she wants something different then we can go together to pick something out. I'm scared she's gonna say no and I don't know if my heart can take that Momma. She's my whole world and she has no clue."

About that time BG hears his truck pull in the drive and when JJ didn't get out he kissed his momma goodbye and told her he would talk to her later. He made his way to the truck and he saw a tear stained face looking back at him and it broke his heart. JJ sees him and she smiles and slides over allowing him to climb into the truck and when he gets in she lays her head on his shoulder and said,"Take me home Brantley"
BG looked at her and she smiled and he said," yes ma'am whatever you want darlin'" as he kissed her lips.

When they got to BG's, JJ walked in and said,"We need to talk about all the things that you have thrown at me the past couple of days. I want you to know that I am leaning toward taking the job with Coach Taylor but haven't totally made up my mind. So that means I am leaning toward moving back to Georgia and living with you but I have to know are you serious or is this just a whim"
BG looked at her and said," I'm serious I know I have always said I was afraid of commitment but honestly after the past few weeks of soul searching I am not afraid of commitment I was afraid to commit to the wrong person cause I realized you took my heart when you were 10 and never gave it back. I was just to young and stupid to realize that. So yes Jennifer Justine I want it all with you, cause without you then I am nothing but a shell of the man I can be when I am with you. "
JJ looks at him," Brantley Keith the answer is yes I will move in with you and I plan on taking the job at UGA and coming home."
BG crushed his lips to JJ's and it all teeth and tongue and she bites his lip causing him to growl. Their hands are roaming and ridding clothes of the other and he takes her to the rug in front of the fireplace and lays her down. He moves his lips down her jaw and shoulder making his way to her breasts and teases them with his mouth into hard pebbled nubs, causing her to arch into his mouth. He enters her and strokes the flames between them higher and higher until the reach climax screaming the others name. BG kisses her soft and tells her," I promise you won't regret this, I love you Jennifer and I want you from now until I die."
"Brantley you took my heart when you were 12 and never gave it back so I want you from now until I die. I love you Brantley."
