Can't Forget

Chapter 46

     JJ and Ashley are out shopping while BG and Eli and Cam shoot and "blow some shit up" BG's words.
  " Hey JJ have you thought about when and where y'all will get married?"
  "Well yeah Ash I have thought about it not sure though when it's gonna work out as far as date. I had thought about getting married in our church, I mean we grew up there and it just seems like that is where it should be but I have to have a date so that I can do that."
   Ash says," okay I get that and can understand but if you set a date you know BG is gonna move tour dates if he has to cause I'm telling you right now girl ANYTHING you want you are gonna get."
JJ laughs at Ash's words cause she knows that it's true, BG has been doing everything in his power to spoil her, says he's making up for lost time.
"Okay I will sit down and really look at the calendar while I am here and look at his tour dates and see if we can figure things out. Now are you and Eli thinking about having Cam a baby brother or sister any time soon?" JJ asked

  "Well yeah we are but I ain't gonna be big as the side of a barn in your wedding pictures so kinda waiting on you JJ" Ash said.

JJ laughs and said," okay well I will get right on that for you Ash. Now tell me what you have heard since you are here all the time. How is Amber taking all this?"
  Ash grinned and said," Lets go grab food cause this is some good stuff."
  They head to Logan's and get seated when Ash said," She isn't taking it well at all JJ. She still has the pictures of her and Brantley in her classroom and tells people they are having a rough time but most couples do and get this she is still planning a wedding!? I was like WTF  when I heard that last part."
  JJ's eyes go wide at that last statement and said," Ash she is delusional and no one is saying anything and still letting her teach school? That is wrong on so many levels but she needs help Ash. It's not funny and if people know this and are doing nothing to help her what are they gonna do when she snaps and harms a child? That just makes me sad Ash, Amber was once a good friend of mine and I am so sorry things turned out like they have. She was a good person until she got fixated on BG from that point on she let nothing stand in her way to get him. Someone really needs to help her before a tragedy happens."
  Ash looks at JJ and said," you freakin amaze me, she had done nothing but try to destroy you and your life the past 7 years and you feel sorry for her and want someone to help her. How do you do that JJ? She blocked your number so BG wouldn't hear from you or you from him, she had Jace attack you, she has tried to get you in trouble at work and yet you have compassion for her, tell me how?"
  JJ said," I get it BG is a good man and it hurts like hell when you lose him, I know that from experience Ash, but she shouldn't be left alone to be delusional and possibly hurt or kill someone and the fact that she is in charge of kids well that is dangerous. What if one of them come in and say something about me and BG and she loses it on them? What then Ash? Something needs to be done"
  Ash just shakes her head and looks at JJ. Their food arrives and they continue to talk about the ones they went to school with, Ash catching JJ up on everyone. They paid and as they were leaving JJ bumped into someone when she had her head turned to Ash. When she turns around to say excuse me she sees that it is Amber and says it. Amber looks at JJ and said," He is mine so you need to back off"
JJ said," no Amber BG and I are getting married, you need to accept this fact and move on."
Amber said," I don't have to accept anything you tell me. He is mine I make him happy and you need to realize that"
JJ walks away before anything else is said. Ash just stares at her and said," How do you do that calmly talk to her and then walk away."
JJ laughs," He's mine and she needs to accept the reality of all this. Staying the truth and then walking away is all I can do."
   They head back to BG's house all the while JJ thinking about everything that Ash has told her , knowing that it wasn't over if it is all true.
