Can't Forget

Chapter 70

  BG and JJ walked down the aisle and back to the Brides room. They had to do pictures when everyone left but they were taking the first few minutes to just take in the moment of being married. As soon as the door closed BG pulled her into his arms and he held her just looking into her eyes. When he finally spoke," JJ you take my breath away. You have always been beautiful but seeing you in that dress walking toward me I couldn't help but lose it baby. You are my whole world and i love you so much."
  " you dressed up even though I didn't ask you too and when I saw you waiting for me I couldn't help but cry. You did that for me and you are my world B. I love you!!"
  He kissed her softly and savored the moment of just holding his wife , he would never get tired of hearing that or thinking that.
  There was a knock at the door and Ko said ," it's time for y'all to finish pictures so we can get to the house and celebrate."
  BG took JJ by the hand and led her back to the sanctuary and they finished up pictures before heading to the reception.

They arrive at the reception and they have them wait outside while they announce them. As they say," I present to you Mr and Mrs Brantley Gilbert"
BG and JJ walk in and they make their way to the dance floor and he pulls her into his arms as Kenny Chesney's You Save Me starts playing. They dance and then the Mother/son dance with Momma to Indiana's Angel. Ko takes the microphone and said now it's time for the best friend and bride dance and Ko takes JJ in his arms as BG gets the mike and sings That was Us. JJ is laughing the whole time and then she tells Ko " it's time for you to man up and talk to Oakley's parents you are a good man and she's mature beyond her years so you need to do it like you told her you would. Be the man that I have depended on for the past few years."
Ko leaned down and said," I plan on talking to them after we finish JJ. Thank you for helping me to see what I was giving up by pushing her away. If anything I have learned from you an BG is that it's crazy to make a decision for someone else without giving them a chance to at least weigh in on it. I love you JJ and I will always be here for you and I am so honored that you asked me to give you away. You are his  best girl in the same way Nana was Pop's best girl. Y'all have that forever love."
  As he said that a year slips from JJ's eye and Ko wiped it away and takes her and hands her over to BG. He looks at Ko and JJ and looked pissed and JJ places her hand on his arm and said," it's okay big guy he wasn't hurting me just made me sentimental and I cried cause he said something really sweet."
  BG leans down and kisses JJ and pulls her in close and whispers," I love you wife"
JJ grins and said," I love you husband, now let's get some food and then we can party with everyone." They get their plates and eat and watch the party get started with drinking and dancing.
  Ko walks over to Oakley and her parents and asks if he could speak with them. They tell him to sit down. Oakley is just watching Ko and not saying anything. Ko says," First of all I owe you Oakley an apology for hurting you and thinking the worst of you. I'm sorry and that doesn't make it right but I had to tell you that in front of your parents." He turns to her parents and said," I would like your permission to date your daughter. I do realize that I am older than her but getting to know her and being her friend these past 3 years I have grown to love her. I would like to see if there is anything but friendship there, I know I have feelings for her and I would not act on them before now because of our age difference. I wanted her to have someone better than me because she deserves the best in the world. So before I ask her out I wanted to ask your permission as her parents and answer any questions that you might have."
Oakley's mom just smiled and looked at her husband, he said," Son her mother and I have watched y'all for 3 years and I was about to decide that either you were very slow in the head or you were batting for the other team. My little girl loves you and I can see that, been aware of it for some time now. However I also know that you have already hurt her once. You get this chance with our permission but I am telling you man to man if you hurt my baby girl again, I will stomp your ass. Do you understand me? "
Ko said," yes sir I hear you loud and clear"
Oakley dad said," well now that is settled I'm gonna go dance with my beautiful bride, so excuse us"
Oakley looks at Ko and said," you did it you actually asked them to date me and you said you loved me? WTH?!"
Ko told her," I do love you and would do anything for you and I'm gonna prove it to you. Can I have this dance?"
Oakley smiled and stood up and Ko led her to the dance floor.
   BG and JJ watched as they danced. JJ said," he's a good man BG and a lot of that is because he had an awesome big brother"
BG smiled and said," also because he had a best friend who taught him what a good man was and how a lady was to be treated."

   As the party was winding down BG stood next to Eli, and Ko watching Ash,Oakley and JJ dance together and they were having a blast. Eli said," Man I wasn't sure I would ever see y'all together again but I knew you belonged with her. Everyone did but I am gonna make an observation and that is letting those 3 together is gonna cause us some trouble boys cause they are definitely GRITS and that is always trouble."
BG and Ko laughed at Eli and BG said," you haven't said anything any truer than that Eli and little bit is a force to be reckoned with just like JJ was , hell who am I kidding just like JJ is."
They start playing Ride by Chase Rice and BG said," I'm gonna go dance with my woman and see if I can't talk her into a little ride myself"
  He heads to the dance floor and comes up behind JJ placing his hands on her and grinding into her. She leans back and pulls on his beard and he growls in her neck telling her that she knows what that does. She smiles and said," I think I forgot why don't you show me as she turns in his arms." He sees that she is ready and says," as soon as we toss those flowers and garter I'm ready baby."
  JJ pulls him with her as she runs and grabs her bouquet and heads to the stage. BG laughs.
  The DJ said ," it's time for the bouquet and garter toss , so let's have all the single ladies gather up front ."
  They all gather up and the DJ looks at JJ and said on the count of 3 she's gonna toss it 1...2...3! JJ tossed it over her shoulder and it fell in Oakley's hands. She stood with her mouth open and finally laughs when JJ winks at her. They bring a chair for JJ to sit on and BG puts his head under her dress and she knows when he finds it because he growls. She laughs as he kisses her leg as he pulls it off with his teeth. But then stops as he uses his hands to run up her leg to her core and presses against it. He laughs at her and she raises her eyebrow. BG stands up and closes his eyes and shoots the garter and  as Ko catches it he laughs at the look on his face. They take pictures with Oakley and Ko and them BG picks JJ up puts her over his shoulder and walks to his bike as everyone has made their way with sparklers. He sets her down leans her over and kisses her before getting on his bike and JJ gets on behind them and they drive off into the night.
