JJ wakes up and realizes that she is alone. She looks for her phone and sees that it is only 9am. Then she sees a yeti cup and knows it had coffee in it. She sits up and sees that there is a note.
Jennifer,
Here is your coffee, drink up and get ready for a day of adventure and remembering. So you will find another note downstairs after you drink your coffee and shower and are ready to start your day.

JJ drinks her coffee as she heads to the shower. She gets ready and heads downstairs where there is another note that says:
You have made it to the first step. You will see that I have made you your favorite pancakes. Eat up and then take the keys that are by your plate and mash the button to see where you need to go next.
JJ eats her breakfast grabs the keys and puts on her jacket before getting her purse. She steps outside and mashed the button and to her surprise she hears it around the corner and sitting in the driveway is a brand new Black Ford Explorer with tinted windows and a big red bow on it. She takes the bow off and there is yet another note.
JJ,
Please take your new Ford and go to the place where we began.

JJ got in started the Ford and to her surprise there was playing on the speakers Brantley's early songs some of his demo work. She pulls out and heads to Jefferson Elementary.
She pulls into the parking lot and gets out and walks around to the playground.
There by the swings was another note,
JJ
17 years ago you took my heart when I saw this little bit of a girl stand up to two bullies who tried to take her swing. That was the moment I knew that we would be friends forever.
So the next place to go is when I realized that I loved you and saw you as a beautiful woman not just my best friend. So your next destination is the gym for Prom night.

JJ got back in the Explorer and took off to Jefferson high school gym. She got out and walked to the doors and tested them. They opened and she stopped as soon as she entered the gym. Her eyes filled with tears because playing on the sound system was the first song that she ever danced with Brantley, she can't believe he remembers that . She listens to Keith Whitley sing ," When You Say Nothing At All" JJ walks on into the gym and there in the spot where they danced is a dozen pink roses and of course another note.

This night is a memory that I have held onto and kept so close to my heart. This night was when it hit me that I loved you more than a friend but that I wasn't any good for you. Holding you in my arms and dancing with you on your Prom night well I have to say it gave me plenty of material for my fantasies of you and me. Now do you remember what happened after we left Prom? JJ got into the Explorer putting the roses in the passenger seat and pulled out of the school parking lot headed to Potts farm. She listens to the CD that he had put into the Explorer and she hears Play Me That Song and she starts to cry knowing that it was about her. She loves BG and she doesn't know where this trip down memory road is headed but it has made it so real to her that everything in her life the big moments were all wrapped up in him. She cannot wait to be able to tell the entire world that she is moving home.
She pulls into Potts Farm the back way just like they did that night and she sees that there are clear white lights lining the path to where they had always held their bonfires. In the clearing there is a table set up and Brantley is standing there waiting for her. JJ gets out of the Explorer and walks toward BG. He starts toward her and pulls her into his arms for a kiss. He pulls back and said," How was your trip down memory lane in Jefferson?"
JJ smiled," it was nice, made me remember all the great things and some of the little things that I had forgotten. I can't believe you remembered the sound that we danced to the first time."
BG said," Baby I remember everything about you and every moment we had together. That night was when I knew that I loved you but was to scared to do anything about it. I was afraid of losing you and I knew then I wasn't a good thing. You were going places and look at you now. You are successful and have accomplished your dreams. I am so proud of you baby."
JJ said," it is nothing without you in my life baby. Talk about making their dreams come true I mean look at you Mr country superstar"
BG took her and led her to the table where he had lunch waiting on them.
JJ asked," what had all this been about BG?"
He smiled and told her she would see. They are talking about old times and then BG looked at JJ and said," I need to talk to you"
JJ said," Okay what's on your mind?"
"Jennifer Justine Jaxon, you walked into my life 17 years ago and my world hasn't been the same since. I wanted to remind you that you were in so many memories of my life, and I in yours. Seeing you in my bed and in my house well that just makes me think of all the time I wasted with you. I swore that if I ever got the chance I would tell you what you mean to me. I love you JJ, you took my heart 17 years ago and I never got it back. You stood by me through the rehab and you were there for the lean years of me trying to make it and then when I had my first hit record. So when I looked at all of that I looked ahead and I want it all with you the good mornings the late nights, the knowing that the other side of the bed is yours and that no matter what my hearts home resides in you. So as I get down on my knees Jennifer, I am asking you if you will make me the happiest man in this earth and will do me the honor of marrying me cause I love you baby I always have and I always will."
BG drops to one knee and pulls out his Nana's ring and said," I have Nana's ring that Pop gave her. She gave it to me when he passed and I want to give it to you as a symbol of the kind of everlasting love I have for you. I see us together with marriage and babies and many years together."
JJ has tears streaming down her face and a huge smile, " Brantley you are my world and I am honored that you want me to be your wife but Nana Gilberts ring are you sure?"
BG wiped her tears away and said," you are the only one that is worthy of Nana's ring and Nana said that the one who had my heart would know how precious this ring is and Jennifer Justine that is you"
JJ said," Yes a thousand times YES! Brantley Keith Gilbert I would love to marry you!"
BG pulled her into his arms and he kissed her slow and sweet that turned into hard and needy. He picked JJ up and carried her to the bed of his pickup where he had blankets and pillows and made love to her showing her just how much he loved her and needed her in his life.
As they lay in the bed watching the sunset JJ said," you have made my dreams come true as she holds her hand and looks at the simple solitaire that means so much to both of them."
