Chapter 19

JJ walks into the school and heads straight to find her principal, she finds him in his office and he looks up as she knocks on the door. He motions her to come in and have a seat. JJ starts to speak and Mr Hayes said," I saw the post and I watched the video. You did nothing wrong Coach Jaxon, Mr. Anderson had already been in contact with me over it and he saw the video and that you did nothing but attend a concert where you were pulled on stage like most young women would like to be. Now saying that you have no backlash from us however you may have to deal with the community or parents questioning you. I just want you to know that I have you back and so does Mr. Anderson. Is there anything else?"
JJ looks at him and said," I appreciate that you stand behind me but I feel like you are owed an explanation. I don't know if you saw Kolby and the guy that came with him to last nights game. That is his brother the country music singer Brantley Gilbert. We all three grew up together and were best friends. Brantley's ex kept the fact that I called him 5 years ago cause his friend that he asked to make sure I made it home okay beat me up when I would not have sex with him. He found out the night that video was made because we had not seen each other for 5 years till that afternoon. I did something that I don't normally do and that was get drunk after the concert. I know the singer Chase Rice and we are just friends and he called Kolby to come get me. Brantley found out what had happened 5 years ago and broke it off with Amber. She is doing all she can to ruin my name because he has chosen me over her. We were never anything but friends back then, now we are more. I have contacted the police and they are working on it and Brantley has contacted his lawyer about an injunction against her. I felt like you needed to know since you have my back on this and I am sorry for any bad publicity they may give the school but I didn't do anything wrong."
"Coach Jaxon, you are like my daughter and I will tell you like I would tell her, live your life and yes we are held to a higher standard and yes the kids and parents may talk but hold your head up and show them what you are made of, show them what I saw when I watched you play ball at the University of Georgia, yes I know you did but I felt like you didn't want people to know to bring attention to you but wanted the attention to your team. Get ready people will be finding out now." Mr Hayes told her.
   JJ smiled," thank you for your support sir, now I need to put on my game face cause I know a lot has seen it."

   JJ text BG

JJ: Just talked to my principal who has already talked to my superintendent and they support me said I had done nothing wrong. I explained our situation how she was mad and kept something from you and you broke up and chose me. So I'm good baby

BG:  oh I know you're good baby I found that out last night and this morning 😉 but glad to know you are gonna be okay at work

JJ: You are bad,but I love you. Let me know how it goes with your label and I will talk to you later, gotta get game face on to deal with these hormone driven teenagers😜

BG: okay baby and I like hormone driven Jennifer Justine😜 just sayin...

JJ : Brantley Keith you know I hate that name but I love you bad boy
BG: I guess you will just have to spank me when I see you again for punishment, I love you too baby girl

JJ smiles as she reads his last text and looks up when Oakley said,"Don't think I have forgotten you have some explaining to do Coach Jax. Not only do you know BG but you have been up close and personal with Chase Rice. And you played college ball, so I am assuming for the Georgia Bulldogs?"
"Yes Oakley I played 2 years for the Georgia Bulldogs before I quit playing due to clinicals . My degree was more important to me than playing ball. I don't regret playing and I don't regret quitting. As far as BG other than the past 5 years he has been in my life since I was 10 and he was 12. Chase is a friend that I met through Ko and that has been the last couple years. BG and I reconnected the night that video was made. We both found out that she kept him from knowing that his friend beat the crap out of me one night cause I wouldn't have sex with him. When he found out he kicked her to the curb and we decided to see where it goes with us and yes before you ask he is my boyfriend now." JJ told her
"Yeah well Ko told me the part about you and BG being best friends growing up last night. Said you were a great ball player and it was hard for you to give it up but BG helped you make the decision. Then he told me how you and him never stopped being friends even though you were mad at BG. Now my question is this I saw you come out of the office are you in trouble for what you know who posted on your wall this morning?" Oakley asked her.

"No Oak, I'm not in trouble but I will let you in on a secret, she best hope I don't see her cause I will whoop her ass when I do." JJ said

Oakley's eyes got wide and she said," you are a bad ass ain't you but keep it under wraps because of being a coach and school nurse?"
JJ winked at her and told her she needed to get to class.
JJ went to her office to get her reports done. Lana stops by and asks if everything okay. JJ tells her it is fine that the bosses have her back told her she did nothing wrong and that David was on it and BG had called the lawyers. Lana asked how she really was and JJ smiled and said, " I'm better than I have been in 5 years cause I have BG back in my life and this time it's as my boyfriend. Lana hugged her and told her she was happy for her.
Anita called her back to the office and said," these roses are for you."
It was another dozen roses and this time the card said,

Congrats on the win last night! Hope these make up for Amber putting us back on Facebook but that night was one of the best nights I have had in a long time. I meant what I said that night.

JJ read the card took a picture of it and the roses and told Anita to do whatever she wanted to with them.
JJ sent the pictures to BG with the text:
