Chapter 4:

They reached his wing. He opened the first set of doors, then the second. Deirdre was trapped in their chambers for the rest of the evening. He set her down on the bed, she was silently crying.

She sat up on the bed cross-legged and wiped away her tears. "What are you going to do to me?" whispered Deirdre.

"You need to learn some respect, love. Stand up." Deirdre stood up and bowed her head down. Loki crossed his arms and walked around her. He seemed to be deciding the best possible way to punish her for her actions.

She was still wearing the God-Awful high heels he picked out for her and her feet were killing her. As she danced with him earlier she felt the pain of the bruises that were surely on her legs and torso by now. She always bruised and scarred so easily due to her extremely pale skin.

Finally Loki stopped behind her and she felt his hands undoing the corseting on the back of her dress. She didn't say a word. His hands stroked her neck then trailed over to her shoulders to push the sleeves of the dress down. The dress pooled around her ankles and then vanished. She was now left wearing only the elbow length black and gold gloves, the lacy green lingerie, and the awful black high heels.

The armoire was still open and she glanced at her reflection in the mirror. Loki wrapped his arms around her, one hand around her waist and another stroking her collarbone and neck. He had a crazed look on his face. His eyes were full of hunger for the body before him. Never in her life had she seen a man look at her that way. It terrified and excited her.

She tried not to let him see any emotion. Deirdre didn't want Loki to know just how afraid she was. His hands trailed along her body slowly. It felt nice, but she knew this was supposed to be a punishment so she knew the nice feeling wouldn't last for long.

Finally his hands settled on her shoulders and she was pushed to her knees. She looked up and Loki was now in front of her. "Say my name."

"What?" she said, confused. Loki turned away.

            "Say. My. Name."

"Why do you want me to say your name?" asked Deirdre.

Loki turned back around and backhanded her across the face again. "When I give you an order I expect you to follow it without question. NOW SAY MY NAME!"

"Loki," said Deirdre, with her head down.

"Look me in the eye when you speak to me. SAY MY NAME!" shouted Loki.

Deirdre looked him in the eye. She gave him a look of pure hatred. "Loki."

"Stand up, you mewling quim," spat Loki.

Deirdre pushed herself up and tried not to show her fear. Once she stood Loki began circling her again. He must have been a vulture in another life. She chuckled at this thought.

He suddenly grabbed her chin. "Is there something funny about all of this?"

Deirdre didn't say anything. "Answer me when I am talking to you!" growled Loki. He pushed her and she stumbled a bit. She held onto the bed for support and then straightened herself back up. "Well!" he shouted.

"No, Loki, nothing was funny," she said making sure she was looking him in the eye and maintained a serious expression.

"Good." Loki turned away from her and waved his hands, suddenly his helmet and armor disappeared. He was left wearing just his boots, leather pants, and a green tunic. He turned back to her.
