"Let's go for ice cream."
"What?" Will asked absentmindedly, his concentration on the book that was on his lap.
"Ice cream. We haven't gone out for a date in ages. Anyway, it'll be quick."
Will chewed at the end of his pen, debating for a wild minute whether he should abandon his revision or to stay and continue.
"Um..."
"C'mon, babe, please? Just for one hour. Then we can go back and you can be all studious." Nico begged, pulling the puppy dog eyes card, because he knew that Will could never resist them.
"Really, Neeks? No fair. You know that's cheating." Will said crossly, referring to how Nico had played him .
Nico grinned in triumph, and watched as his boyfriend got up from the bed to change into something more decent.
###
"I miss this." Nico said endearingly, threading his fingers together with Will's.
"I do too." Will murmured, brushing the hair out of Nico's eyes, and grinned when he saw that Nico's pale cheeks were dusted lightly with a pink shade.
The duo were heading toward an ice-cream parlour nearby their apartment, and was thankful when it wasn't too crowded. Usually, it would've been filled with patrons, and just to get to the front of the line would have taken at least an hour.
"Thank the Gods." Will heard Nico mutter, as their hands unwound from each other's.
Nico sped toward the counter, Will trailing lazily behind him. No complains from Will though, it gave him a chance to admire his boyfriend, to drink in the lines of him, to memorise the curves and contour of the other's body.
Ever since Nico's gained a little weight, his build less bony and starved, his body had stayed lean and lithe, and Will knew that Nico's seemingly scrawny arms actually had cords of muscle underneath the pale olive skin. Nico's high and angular cheekbones, and his inky-black hair that curled around his temple and his cheekbones, Nico was beautiful, from his head to the tips of his toes.
Don't even get Will started on Nico's eyes. Nico's eyes were pools or dark brown so dark, it was almost as if it was black. And when the sunlight hits them just right, they appeared golden and luminescent, like Hazel's. Will inwardly sighed. He was whipped.
"Hey. I got you cookie dough, that's your favourite, right?" Nico's voice startled Will from his train of thoughts.
"You remembered." Will said, and Nico grinned, flushing again.
"Of course I did."
"Alright, here you go, one chocolate chip and one cookie dough." The lady behind the counter handed their orders to them.
"Thanks."
They started walking to the nearest booth, bantering good-naturedly.
"I never understood why you like chocolate so much. I figured that you'd be more of a licorice kind of person."
"You figured wrong. Anyway, cookie dough isn't that great."
Will managed a shocked expression, before both of them burst into light giggles, as they slid into the booth, sitting opposite from each other.
"You take that back, though." Will said, hiccuping.
"Never!"
They chuckled again.
"Hi...sorry to interrupt. I'm Kammie."
Both boys glanced up to meet a tall and willowy blonde, a rather attractive one too, and said a weak hello.
Without warning, she slid into the seat beside Nico, and placed her hands over his. "You're like, really cute, so...wanna hang sometime?"
Will didn't miss the very obvious way of how she was stroking Nico's slightly quivering ones. Suddenly, he was overcome by a sudden urge to hit her. It took all of his self control not to, and instead to growl out, "Hands off my boyfriend, Kammie."
The girl -Kammie- glared at him, but took off her hands. "Yeah, like I believe you. He's too hot to be with the likes of you."
"Hey!" Nico cut in, irritated at how she had insulted his boyfriend.
Will let out a mirthless laugh. "Sweetie, he's way out of your league. And on top of that, he's gay. Not to mention, mine. So back off, before I do something I'll regret."
Kammie glared at him, but Will returned the glower twice as intensely. She got up, and left their booth, not before muttering a few not to well worded curses.
"Angry you is a turn-on sometimes. She so needed to be put in place."
Will flushed at Nico's first statement.
"Sorry it was ruined by her." Nico sighed aloud, and Will cracked a smile.
"No, it wasn't ruined. It actually took off some tension off my shoulders."
They shared a quick smile, before finishing their ice creams.
End.
Author's note: Lol, probably could be more well-written, but I'm in a rush. We need more territorial Will sometimes. Hmmm.....
Also, credit to soIaces for this idea, yay!
