JFC I FORGOT LEO FOR THIS CHAPTER OH MY GOD NO. LET'S ALL PRETEND THIS TOOK PLACE WHEN LEO WAS GONE OR SMTH TY.

"Perfect." Nico murmured, a small smile tugging on his lips, as he admired the mantelpiece that he had decorated. Stockings hung on the edge, in a flurry of colours. Nico's was always black, but Will had convinced him to add in some reds as well. Hazel's was a traditional green and white stocking with a small heart as the centerpiece. Will's was a beautiful, simple red and white stocking, like Santa's hat. Nico's heart fluttered at the thought of spending this year's Christmas with all his friends. Percy and Annabeth could actually make it this year, and so could Jason and Piper. Reyna would be making the trip too. Excitement coursed it his veins. Sadly, Frank couldn't, and it sucked, 'cause he'd always been present for all their celebrations. He got held up and Hazel had been upset, but she bounced back, bubbly as always.

"Can you get that?" Will's voice cut through his thoughts and Nico snapped back to reality, not registering the fact that the doorbell had rung.

"Idiot." Hazel mocked jokingly, running toward the door.

Oh.

Nico blushed, following his sister to the door to greet the guests. Hazel flung open the door and threw herself against the people outside, not caring who they were.

"BETH! PERCY! YOU'RE HERE!! YOU'RE ACTUALLY HERE!!!!" Hazel squealed, probably alarming some of the neighbours, but Nico could care less when he saw the couple at the door, their hands full with gifts and Hazel hanging off of Annabeth.

"Yes, yes, we are. Now, can you help us?" Annabeth said, her tone lazily sarcastic, but a smile was stretched across her flushed face.

It made Nico miss her with a pang. Her smart quips, her clever jokes, her musical laugh, the way she handled Percy. It never occurred to him how long they have been apart since the left Camp Half Blood.

"NICO!!!! Long time no see, bruh! Where's Jason?"

"Hasn't arrived yet." Nico murmured, smiling gently, as memories of Percy rushed to him. Sure, he'd been in love with the boy once, but now, he just remembered the amazing memories they had together. Percy hadn't changed a bit. He was still the same goofy, oblivious idiot that all of them adored. Hazel invited them in, chattering non-stop, and Annabeth just beaming beside her. Percy, who'd run off, probably to disturb Will. It made his heart just swell. He began to close the door, before a hand shot out to stop it.

"Hey, it isn't nice to shut out people." A joking, familiar voice said.

"JASON! PIPER! REYNA!" Hazel yelled, (Damn, she's got a set of lungs.) ambushing them.

The four landed in a tangled pile of limbs at Nico's feet. A sharp laugh tumbled out of Nico's mouth. Groaning in pain, the four picked themselves up, rubbing their aching bodies.

"Warn me next time, Hazel." Reyna said, laughing softly, wrapping her arms around the cinnamon brown haired girl.

"Gods, I've missed all of you so fucking much." Piper whispered, her voice tinged in awe, as though she couldn't believe that they were here, together.

Percy barreled out of the kitchen and launched himself onto Jason, who staggered, and regaining balance before hugging the green eyed boy. Nico smiled to himself, for the hundredth time, before allowing Reyna to embrace him.

"How are you, Neeks? I haven't heard from you in forever. Is blondie treating you right?" Reyna asked, concern lacing her tone, and Nico laughed.

Reyna, as overprotective as Bianca and Hazel. Quiet, but always ready to strike. He'd definitely missed all of them. He decided right there and then, that they needed more gatherings like these. Sure, they may be scattered all around the globe, but sacrifices had to be made.
