"Really?" I asked, incredulous.

"Yup."

"You actually want me to do this?" Gabriel grinned at me devilishly.

"More than anything."

I sighed, standing up and brushing my skirt down and readjusting my blouse. In what I hoped was a confident walk, I strolled up to the red fireman pole that people climbed up. I placed my hands on it, and was about to start.

"Wait!" Meanie said, laughing. I turned hopefully to him. Please don't make me do this! I tried to tell him through my eyes.

"I just wanna get my camera out." He took out his phone, and suddenly a guitar solo intro came on, and he put the camera on. I sighed and rolled my eyes.

I waited till the singer started, and hooked my legs, around the pole, dancing around it the way I'd seen pole dancers do. My mind was going over how bad I felt doing this. But I kept dancing, to prove to him that I could do it.

I slid down, up, round, before the song finally ended and I stopped.

Meanie was staring with a weird look in his eyes, holding the camera up.

"Meanie?" He didn't answer. "Gabe?" Nothing. He was just smiling a goofy smile.

"GABRIEL COLEMAN!" I shouted. He snapped to attention, clearing his throat and moving uncomfortably.

"Are you okay, Gabriel?" I asked. I had no idea what was wrong. He grinned again.

"I'm fan-f*cking-tastic Trouble. Fan-f*cking-tastic."
