Drabble Sixty-Nine - Dreams

I sigh to myself, exasperated. Sang is basically passed out on my desk chair, her head resting on her arm. That can't be comfortable. Maybe if I just put her on my lap- to make her more comfortable, of course. I am a doctor, right? Her back might ache when she wakes up in that position. Nobody wants an achy back.

I grin. Yes. It's all for her benefit. I won't gain anything, nothing at all. I most certainly wouldn't enjoy holding her. Nope. No sir.

Her blonde hair is spread out, and obviously because it's Sang, in the most tempting way. That girl will be the death of me.

I lift her, careful to keep her asleep and position her so she fits comfortably. Her head snuggles into my chest, making herself smaller. My grin really can't get any wider. But not because we're basically cuddling, no, because I'm saving her from the terrible infliction of a bad back. Really,

I'm not lying...Not at all...

I stroke the side of her face. What were we here for again? Oh, yes, that's right, she wanted a nap and this was the easiest place. I shake my head in amusement. She hadn't wanted one, or that's what she said. Never wanting to, as she put it, 'get in the way'. When I told her I didn't mind, she did that adorable thing where she bit her lip and eventually gave in, sitting on the chair and passing out.

The others say she's sleeping fine, but I had to have a little chat with her about it. Not that I can talk, honestly, I barely get a few hours in at points between the Academy, the hospital and wanting to spend time with Pookie.

My amusement grows as she moves her head and the tiniest of smiles forms on her lips. Must be a good dream. I wonder if I'm in it.

And then she lets out the smallest, gentlest of moans out and I gently stroke her cheek. Must be a very good dream. Now I really hope I'm in it.

"Sean...Mmmm..." She mutters and I prove myself wrong, my grin really can grow wider.

Maybe I wouldn't have that talk about sleep deprivation. This is much more fun.
