"Look at the beauty of nature, Princess, look at it."

I looked at what he was pointing out and nodded.

"It's a tree."

"That it is. And may I say, what a green tree it is."

"Very green, I agree with you there."

"Yup...Very...Green."

"That tree's green too."

"I'd say it's more of a brown tree. But each to their own."

We wandered for a little bit, pointing out the various shades of tree before I became bored.

"Victor, where are we going?"

"Somewhere," he said vaguely, waving his hand. I stared at him.

"Oh god. You...You're lost, aren't you."

"Not lost, my dearest Princess. Just...Confused."

"Where were you going in the first place?"

"A guy I knew mentioned this little waterfall place, very romantic. He gave me directions."

"Okay...What were the directions?"

"He said, and I quote, 'pass the tallest tree, go left, follow the path of smaller trees and you'll be there'."

"...We've passed a lot of tall trees. Small trees, too. We've passed quite the variety of trees. Yet you didn't look for the tree he mentioned."

"One tree and another look very alike. Quite uncanny, really."

I put one hand on my hip and looked up at him.

"You utter and complete idiot."

"That was uncalled for. You wound me with your pointy, pointy words."

"I'll be wounding you with the pointy, pointy, rusty spork soon."

"It's like daggers. In my heart. I'm bleeding hurt."

"...I hate you." I muttered.

"Love you too, sweetie."

"Don't push your luck."

"Wouldn't dream of it."

I glared at him and started off into the woods to find the waterfall.
