~North~
Sang, or should I say Rose, stood up, leading us through the tables. I'm ashamed to admit I was staring at her, and gaining an even worse 'problem' than before. I tried to walk without showing it and saw Luke's face smirking at me. Never before had I wanted to punch him so much.
"Why are you so embarrassed, North?" he asked smugly, knowing exactly what was wrong. I knew he had it too. Jesus f*cking Christ, you'd have to be dead not to notice Sang and the innocently, or maybe not as innocent now as before, sexy walk she had.
"F*ck off," I growled. His grin grew wider and I gritted my teeth, ignoring him. My brother loved to p*ss me off as much as possible. 'That's what brothers do,' he always defended, but I didn't see him doing that to the other guys who we considered family. Then when I argued back, he'd say, 'yeah, but I'm the older brother, so I just get to. You don't, lil bro.'
Mr. Blackbourne took the front, walking closely behind Sang, then Dr. Green, Kota, Victor, Luke and so on. When in situations like this, those of us who got angrier than the others had to go to the back. Nathan didn't act like it, but he had an explosive temper when it came to Sang. Silas got p*ssed really easy. Gabriel broke down easiest. I was the worst and I knew it. I wouldn't admit it to them though.
Sang led us through a few hallways, ignoring catcalls when they came before reaching her dressing room.
"Oh, Rose, there you are!" A slender blonde girl with a British accent called out, smiling at Sang, "You p*ssed the hell out of Boss, he's off ranting in his office about you ruining the show."
Sang grimaced. Obviously Boss must be their manager, I decided.
"Hi Jasmine. That's just fantastic. Great. I'm guessing he wants to see me?"
"Yeah," Jasmine nodded sympathetically, "he was in a good mood today, so he won't be too bad. Oh, and love, I set out the dress for your next performance."
Sang smiled at her. "Thanks, I'm just going to talk with my friends first, though."
Jasmine gave each of us a once over, winking. The girl can't be too bad; if she liked me, she must have good taste.
Sang's face grew cold.
"My friends are off limits, you hear?"
Jasmine chuckled and nodded, turning and walking back to her dressing room as Sang opened the door to hers, letting us in.
The room wasn't what I expected. It didn't have I mirror decorated with lights, or even red drapes like you saw in movies. Instead the room had a plain wooden floor, white walls, a makeup table and a little clothes rack in the corner, some stacked chairs on the side of one wall. The room must have been used for storage sometimes. Sparsely furnished and practical.
Sang pulled down seats for all of us with Nathan's help and we all sat down. Mr. Blackbourne, from what I thought was more reflex, took the lead.
"Miss Sorenson, why are you working here?"
Sang Baby bit her lip and hastily rubbed her eyes to keep back tears.
"Firstly, you have to understand that none of you pushed me to do this, it was my own decision. Okay?"
We nodded.
"Right, then, to use a cliché, it all began a few weeks ago..."
