Cinema and Shopping and Food

I open my eyes and I am blinded by the light shinging through my blinds. I am so comfy, but I jump out of bed anyway. I open my blinds and I am shocked  at what I see.

Snow

I shut the blinds again. I aren’t that bothered about the snow, especially since its 8am.

I jump back into bed and grab my phone. Luke has texted me 3 times; One last night saying goodnight, and two this morning saying morning and YOU SEEN THE SNOW?!

I reply instantly.

Morning and yeh how are u x

Seconds after I message him, there’s a message back.

Good u? doing anything today? X

Nope. We text for an hour or so, eventually agreeing movies, then shopping and finally food. We decide to meet up at ten. I did say 12 but he made me go to 10.

I jump out of bed once again and almost skip to my wardrobe. I fling open the purple wooden door and look through my clothes.

My wardrobe is full of band tees, oversized jumpers and comic book-themed shirts. Not a lot to choose from. I have never been one to spend a lot of time and money on clothes.

I eventually, after 15 minutes of deciding, choose an oversized cookie monster jumper and some black skinny jeans. I put my hair in a quick bun, not enough time to straighten or curl it.

I grab my bag and phone, along with my wallet-like-purse. I fling open my door and shut it, then almost run down the stairs, jumping a few steps to save time.

I smell something cooking. I hear my mum singing along to the radio. As I try to slip out silently, I hear a deafening voice call my name

“Charley!” My mum shouts “Breakfast!” She continues her singing.

“Actually, mum, I’m going out” I say back

“With Luke?” She says, pulling a face at me through the door frame.

“Maybe…” I almost whisper.

“Where?” Oh god

“Cinema and shopping and food” I respond.

“When you be back for?” She shouts

“I don’t know, about 4 or 5?” I guess

“Ok, does Luke want to come round for tea?” Oh god

“Um, I’ll have to ask him” I reply

“Ok, have fun!” She smiles through the door frame and waves good bye.

“Bye” I say back unlocking the door.

I am free, yet again
