Cal dived onto the sofa and joined Ash, who was already sat down, reading through a menu. God, it was like all the boys lived in each other’s houses. He was very into it and hardly jumped when Cal practically jumped on him.

“Who likes garlic bread?” Ash asked, finally realising we were there. He looked at me, as he probably knew if the boys did, because they were so close.

“Uh, I thought we were getting pizza?” Luke asked, obviously worried about how much this would all cost.

“We are, but I like garlic bread” Ash responded and gave Luke a cheeky smile. Luke just sighed, and looked up at me “So babe, do you like garlic bread?” He said, in case I had forgotten what Ash asked seconds ago.

“Uh… Yeah” I responded, Ash and Luke nodded, and Ash turned to face Calum.

“Can I borrow your phone?” He said, and Calum nodded, reaching for his phone, from his pocket.

“Where’s yours?” Calum asked.

“Dropped it” Ash said.

Ash dialled the number, while Calum read out the phone number on the leaflet.

“Hey, uh, um, collection please, I’ll have three large margaritas, a garlic bread portion, four fries, and a, uh, medium pepperoni, please?”  Ash told the person on the other end of the line. Luke was pulling faces at how much Ash had ordered, but I nudged him and told him to ‘shhh’, which he did.

“A drink? Uh-what do you guys want?” Ash asked and he turned to look at us.

“Um, Coke and Tango” Michael answered, for all of us.

“Er ok-Um two one litre bottes, Coke and Tango, Tango Orange. That’s it yeah thanks, um name, Hemmings, ok, how long sorry? Oh cool. Okay bye” Ash hung up and looked at Luke, grinning. “It’s £32.58” Ash said laughing, and Luke sighed loudly, and reached for his wallet.        He handed Ash two twenty pound notes.

“My mum is gonna kill me” Luke said, and smiled “Spending thirty quid on bloody pizza!” He shouted, looking around at us, all laughing. Michael picked up the remote and switched on the TV.

“So who’s going for the pizza?” Calum asked, looking at Michael.

“Luke?” Michael asked.

“Ok, fine” He said.

“Me, Luke and Mike will go, you and Cal can get the plates, and glasses ready?” Ash and I nodded. I wondered why Luke didn’t stay, but I didn’t say anything. Ash looked at his watch and slapped Luke’s knee.

“C’mon then, we better set off” Ash said, and he jumped up. Luke followed and Michael opened the front door and off they went.

“Do you wanna go with ‘em, I can do this alone if you want?” Calum said. I liked being in Calum’s company so I didn’t mind. I shook my head.

“No, I’m fine you?” I asked and Cal nodded too.

“We have about 30 minutes until they get back, we can chill for a bit, if-if you want?” Calum said. I sat down next to Cal.

“So…” Calum said, awkwardly “How, um, are you?” He spoke quietly, his accent piercing through. He sat with his hands on his lap, like he was waiting for something.

“Good, yeah, really good you?” I responded, and he grinned.

“Good…Even better because I’m around you” What

“What?” I asked, my jaw dropped, and I was shocked.

“Oh c’mon, you know I like you” Calum said, and I couldn’t really tell if he was joking or not. I don’t think he was.

“What?” I repeated and Calum bit his lip.

“You-you never saw me looking at you in science?” Wait Calum is in my science? “And I told your friend? Tammy is it? Yeah, well I told her. She said she would tell you, but she obviously didn’t…” Cal looked at his feet, embarrassed.

“Cal, I-I don’t know what-what to say or-“ And right at that moment I was interrupted.

Because Calum kissed me.

And I kissed him back.
