So this band?

“So this band?” I say as me and Luke walk over to the McDonalds store (Luke decided again that he was ‘starving’) . Luke has his arm around my shoulders and I am playing with my bracelet that has my name on it, like Luke’s. The McDonalds store is on the other side of the mall, meaning it’s 10 minutes away. It’s right between the Lego store and a store that only sells jacket potatoes and beans.

“Yeeees…” Luke trails off. He is smiling, he’s cute when he smiles. He has his new beanie on, it’s cute on him.

“Where have you played?” I ask, curious. Luke thinks for a minute or two.

“You know… Pubs and clubs, some music competitions, we mostly post stuff on YouTube though…” Luke says, slightly nervous, I think he is trying to impress me “We only got together a while back… So you know…” He trails off.

“Cool” I say. We are like, 5 minutes, away from McDonalds. My legs are quite tired. We will probably be going home after tea, which I’m kinda looking forward to.

“Babe, I just need the loo, I’ll be two minutes.” Luke says, and he lets go of my shoulders. He half jogs towards the Men’s Room. He looks tired, too. He looks hot though and his new beanie really suits him. He goes through the door, when he reaches the Toilets. He is gone and I lean against a wall and take this opportunity to text mum.

Luke is back in no time and we reach McDonalds. Now that I mention it, I am a little hungry too. We have been walking for about 4 hours. I look at my phone’s clock while Luke gets our food. It’s 3:25pm, we should be back for 4pm if we run home and leave here for 25 to.
