Band Practice was ok. Actually really good, but I was really tired, and didn’t enjoy it as much. They had a break halfway through, where Ashton pursued to piss Luke off, Michael went for a drink, and Calum asked me about my life.

“So, you really like him, huh?” Calum said, taking me by surprise as it was such a deep question, when we were just talking about pizza seconds before. Calum looked up at me, his hazel-brown eyes glistening in the dim light of the basement. He looked curious, and I wondered if he was meaning to come off as cute, yet curious.

“Yeah” I stated “Yeah, I really do” I said. I didn’t have a lot to say, as if I started talking about Luke, I wouldn’t be able to stop. Calum smirked, nodding.

“Cute” Calum responded. I was waiting for him to add something on to the conversation, but he didn’t. He just sighed and thought. I wondered what he was thinking about, but I didn’t ask.

“Hey Cal, you ready?” Luke asked, smiling at me and revealing his dimples.

“Yeah, gimme a minute” He said jumping up off the sofa, and walking towards the door.

“Where you going?” Luke asked, directing the question at Calum.

“To get Mikey” Cal said. Aw, he called him Mikey, that was nice.

Right at that moment Michael barged through the door. He apologized for knocking into Calum, who said it was ‘cool’.

After another few songs-Unpredictable, 18, Too Late and a cover of Year 3000 (by McBusted)-practice was over.

“You guys are staying over, right?” Michael asked collecting the guitars and placing them into their cases. He looked up at us-Me, Luke, Cal and Ash. Calum looked at Ash, who nodded.

“Yeah” Calum said, looking at Luke, then shortly after, at me.

“Um, Charley?” Luke asked, and his head turned to me. I had told mum I was going to be staying at a friend’s, so technically I wasn’t lying. Michael was a friend.

“Yeah, yeah cool” I stated and Luke nodded towards Michael, who was already finishing packing up. He just nodded.

“Where we gonna sleep?” Ashton asked.

“Well, we can sleep on the couches?” He asked.

“Couches?” I asked, intrigued to think how many couches he had. Michael pulled a confused face. He realised what I meant after a second.

“I have a conservatory, it’s massive, has five couches” Michael stated, smiling.

“Oh” I said “Oh, okay" He nodded, at nothing in particular.

“You could have a separate couch” Michael said “Or, and I think I know the answer to this, you could share with Luke?” He smirked at Ash and Cal, who smirked back.

“Uh” I said, blushing “Yeah, I’ll-I’ll s-s-share with, uh, Luke” Isaid and the other boys laughed. Luke just smirked, and punched Calum in his side, making him flinch.
