Luke, as gentleman-like as always, opens the door for me. I smile and mutter a quiet “Thanks”. He smiles back and follows me through the door.
The place isn’t like chandeliers and everyone wearing posh dresses. It’s more like ‘oh I’m trying to be an American diner with class’-sorta thing. It’s really nice.
There is a bar and a counter. Me and Luke stroll, hand in hand, towards the counter.
“Hello, what can I do for you on this fine winter day?” A young-looking guy says (he looks about 19). You can tell the service difference from here to the cinema guy.
“Um, we would like a table for two please” Luke says, smiling, he’s so cute.
“Ok, my good sir, here we will direct you to a table of your choice” The guy says.
A woman with purple hair directs us towards a table near the window. There are two seat, one of which Luke moves backwards for me to take a seat. Nice. He takes a seat and grabs my hand, gently.
“This is cool, huh?” Luke says, but not in a way that he sounds cocky and is trying to show off, in a way where he doesn’t realise what a romantic thing he’s doing. He is smirking.
“Luke, it is so lovely, I love it” I say back, smiling.
He smiles and looks down at our wooden table. He bites his lip. Hot.
“Don’t you even think about trying to pay for any of this, babe” he says, with a hint of seriousness, but in a funny way. I sigh, playfully.
“Fine” I say, still feeling guilty though. Luke is playing with a wristband with warrior scribed on it. He had a little smirk on his face.
“Funny isn’t it?” Luke says, still playing with the wristband.
“What is?” I say, intrigued.
“How, I have known you for like, what? A few months, yet I am so madly and deeply in love with you”
Woah.
